Do not bank here! I have had two accounts with them for over 12 years. After surgery and a bit out of work, I needed some assistance with some things. No help or understanding whatsoever. Then, after the HURRICANE, my paycheck was late to arrive. The paying agency did not send the checks on time due to NOT HAVING ELECTRICITY. I tried to stop payment on some bills but missed a few- it was all happening after the storm- so everything was a bit crazy. Amegy stuck me with TONS of fees. I asked for some grace and leniency due to the situation. Nope! Not once did anyone from the branch reach out to me with concern. It is a cold, awkward branch that will kick you when you are down. Many of their business practices are very outdated. There are much better banks out there. I just stayed with them out of a sense of loyalty. Boy, do I feel stupid now.

Been banking with them for years and never experienced a problem until I did and needed there help and it was the worst canceled card 3 times and it took them till the fourth to cancel fully it said refund would take 10 days yet it been a month and they won’t help out inside the building slow and old better off keeping ur money with you

They deserve no stars. This banking institution holds direct deposits for days then informs you they never received it, even if you have proof they did. This about the worst bank I've ever had and I'm glad I decided to leave today.

There is only one ATM, and it is always breaking down or not dispensing cash.

I accompanied a customer for many years to this bank to ask about assistance to get a credit establishing card rep said our bank doesn’t do this incorrect she seemed very annoyed didn’t really explain herself etc. not sure why since we waited for a very long time in waiting area while she made a personnel phone call that everyone heard but I then went to Sugarland location was told not true. And then I was was given options recommendations and wonderful customer service.

Inexperienced tellers refuse to allow me to cash a check due to “the state of my account” in reference to being overdrawn once a month ago and had since been resolved. I will not be returning to this branch as I have never experienced this issue at the Needville branch and was able to cash the same check the same day in Needville. Ridiculous

After unpleasant experience at another bank, I came to Amegy. Very friendly and helpful employees. I got a senior account with no fees and I images in my statement. The CD rates are better than other banks although they are nothing as in year's past. I highly recommend!

This branch has been the absolute worst in handling accounts. Terrible service and rude staff. We will be closing our accounts and I will be calling the corporate office to give specifics. Do not bank here if you want to be taken care of.

Had a very poor experience banking with Amegy. They couldn't update my address even after going in on my lunch break TWICE and waiting to talk with someone. Very inconvenient hours, no other close locations. Fees for every little thing. Ill just call them the "F" Bank for the huge FAIL these guys are.

Location reminds me of a throwback to the grander days of banking. You walk in and know it's an important place, vs the little amegy building everywhere else. The staff is nice and efficient. Opened several accounts there, did international fund transfers. Quick and efficient.
