I do not recommend this place they didn't clean my room for 4 days and then the manager basically told me I was a liar and said I had a sign up on the door which I did not. The staff is unfriendly and definitely do not recommend hopefully other people don't chose to stay here and go through the same headache.

The location is great right by the harbor and everything offered there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. New hotel and is kept nice and clean. Will definitely stay again.

When in the Area. This is my Hilton stop, I travel for work. I Always look for vacancy here. The rooms are always clean upon arrival and AC already running by when I enter my room. Stayed in all floors and all levels have had a great stay each time. Lobby and elevator is always fresh. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Kia has received my work packages in the past and held them upfront till my arrival, has also helped me in last minute request. Breakfast is always stocked and on my way out.

DO NOT STAY DURING THE SUMMER!!! Everything was great, BUT the A/C is on motion sensors. All rooms have the under window units. If the controls are in use on the window unit you're good. If the controls are on the wall you are Out Of Luck!! There is a motion sensor on the wall control. A/C only stays on if someone is in the room.

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the service I received at your hotel. Despite having a fully paid reservation, my room was inexplicably sold, leaving me stranded upon arrival.
Upon inquiry, the front desk staff mentioned that the manager had attempted to contact me. However, it is both logical and expected that a voicemail would be left if direct contact could not be made, especially in such a critical situation.
To exacerbate the situation, I booked my stay through Priceline, and I was falsely reported as a no-show. This claim is particularly egregious given that I arrived at 1 AM due to a flight delay. At no point was I contacted to confirm my arrival or informed that my reservation was at risk.
It is unacceptable that the hotel operates on a first-come, first-serve basis for Priceline bookings, leaving customers like myself without the room we have already paid for. Adding insult to injury, I was informed that I cannot receive a refund because the manager, who is reportedly only available on Thursdays and Fridays, had marked me as a no-show.
The treatment I received is unprofessional and unacceptable. I demand an immediate resolution, including a full refund for the inconvenience and distress caused by this egregious mishandling of my reservation.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.

I really enjoyed my short time at Tru by Hilton Rockwall Dallas. I actually opted for no-contact check-in just to see if it would work (you use the app, no need to check in with anyone.) I was super impressed by how the technology worked, and there was also a personalized welcome message on the TV when I got in! It felt very secure and also high tech!
I also am glad I had to interact with the hotel staff. THEY WERE GREAT! I had a wonderful conversation with Shy at the front desk, and the other staffer that was fixing us breakfast was so kind! (and the breakfast was good!)
I absolutely will stay here again when I have to come to Rockwall. And I LOVE the Tru concept as a hotel - it's so clean, bright and feels vibrant. Plus I love that there aren't tiny bottles of shampoo, etc in the bathroom - I feel like that must be much easier to replace and nicer on the environment, too.
Honestly, it sort of felt like a high end dorm - and I say this as a compliment. The room was CLEAN and well designed. (I did wish there was coffee in the room but honestly it was not hard to go down to the lobby and get some! and glad they had decaf!)

Food & drinks: There are many fast food and fast casual restaurants near the hotel, which is also very close to the river boardwalk area. Also
a CVS around the corner. Every time I'm in Rockwall, I make it a point to drive the 10 extra miles and go to Koung Thai Restaurant, which has really outstanding food. I also am a fan of Fireside Chicken and Tacos. OUTSTANDING street tacos and the prices are super reasonable.

This hotel is top-notch. Room was extremely clean. Front desk employee was very friendly and helpful. Noise is definitely not a problem, you cannot here your neighbors. Property is clean and safe. Hotel has easy access to restaurants and stores. Don't hesitate to book a room here.

Best to get the girl on the early shift. She's fantastic. After that, your better off with a robot. They won't talk back or constantly be looking at their phone

Was excited to stay here because of the high ratings. The room was clean, but the staff were not great. When we got there in the evening we asked for an extra blanket and she said she would have to go get one from housekeeping and to check back. We walked by the desk a few more times and got snacks - every time she was on her cell phone talking to a friend. Then in the morning my husband went to get coffee and it was super weak (almost clear). The breakfast wasn’t great. Then my husband asked if he could play pool and the front desk lady told no pool in the morning.

Wasn't happy about finding hair on the sheets however the clerk was quick to bring us up fresh sheets. The evening and morning clerk was amazing. The breakfast was ok. Will give it another try.

Great hotel!! Very clean and quiet!! Hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel. I’ll be staying here again when in town on business from now on.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! From the moment we checked it, the staff was friendly, courteous and provided excellent customer service. Such genuinely friendly faces. Check in was easy, and they went above and beyond for any/all our needs. Example: I called down from my room and asked if there were any razors before heading to Walmart (extra trip) the woman who answered said yes, so I made my way downstairs to grab one. While the front desk woman was tending to another guest, she politely stepped aside, looked at me, asked if I was room 417 and once I said yes, handed me the razors. She was on top of it! Superb customer service! Then breakfast staff was magnificent, everyone was so personable and helpful. Spread was pretty awesome too! Mandarin oranges and oatmeal, that’s a plus for me! Location was AMAZING as it was down the street from literally everything. You would walk to the waterfront, and just a couple minutes from food and shopping! Would highly recommend staying here for a day to weeks!! Amazing amazing place!!
