You have to make an appt to pick up a test kit. I did that, showed up at the appt time only to find out they don’t have the kit at this location They send me to a different location 20 mins away, no one to speak with. I use the kiosk, it says “we can’t find your appt”. I try the walk in and it says come back 5 hours later for first available. A bystander in the lobby said “ try the “ walk in” option. I’m still waiting

This location is very convenient. I did not have to wait at all. The employee was friendly and professional.

The tech was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't able to purchase a test and get an appointment online, and she guided me through it and provided the testing.

TLDR: 10/10 great staff and process. Bad review are people who cannot read or follow directions
Reviews saying this location is bad or confusing might just be dumb. Quest is plastered in the outside of both the building and inside by the pharmacy. If you need more signage like several of the other reviews, just go to your GP.
Make an apt. If you don’t you will wait because guess what? They have other stuff to do and don’t cater to walking as soon as you show up. Wow shocking huh?
If you cannot figure out how to sign in. Go to your GP. This is for people who can read. You get texted 100 sets of instructions and you couldn’t bother to read one?
Staff is great but likely has no time to deal with fool patients coming through every day who refuse to read or wait.

It would be nice to be able to talk to someone there rather than a automated service. Cannot tell or find out where I should go for testing???

12/29/2023 My wife and I went to the Rockwall location inside Tom Thumb it was 3:55pm the lady attending said she couldn’t take us even though they close at 5pm, that she took her last appointment. She said it was a company rule that we need an appointment. She showed us a sign on the door that appointments are required, the only way to be seen for blood work. I told her there is nothing on line stating appointments are mandatory, when I was trying to explain our unique situation she said they have a lot of complaints. We used their services two other times without any problems. We will Not go back and I will tell people including Nextdoor app to avoid going there… I would give no Star ⭐️ if possible… THERE ARE LOTS OF BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS… HOW DO YOU STAY IN BUSINESS WITH THIS MODEL???

Was turned away. I was told I couldn't walk in. The person there 1/18/24 just before 10am told me she was booked for the day and I should come back some another day. Poor patient care. Do they need more staff??

Came on 9/27 morning time, wasn’t acknowledged until nearly an hour later (walk in) and the lady was very rude. I couldn’t trust her to draw my child’s blood, so I opted to make an appointment at a higher rated quest location.

I've been to many labs and this one was simply the WORST. When I entered (Aug 23) the phlebotomist was in her room with the door open. She saw me walk in and made NO acknowledgment that I was there, not even a hello. The sign on the desk said to "Check in here". No one sitting at the desk. So I stood there and waited. She just went about her business completely ignoring me. I noticed the kiosk BEHIND the desk and I asked her if I'm supposed to use that to check in and she said yes you use the kiosk to check in (with a bit of snarkiness like she was saying "Duh!") The time was 2:40 yet the kiosk said the next appt time was 3:10. I was literally the only one in there. Why did I have to wait 30 minutes? Not a single other person walked in during the 30 minute wait. She was NOT going to do anything until she absolutely had to. At 3:10 she called me in there and THEN discovered my orders were not in her system. Every other lab I have been to, establishing orders is the first thing they do before checking you in! So I called my dr. and had them resend, waiting another 15+ minutes while watching the looped video on the tv screen about how amazing and convenient Quest billing is. "It's as easy as paying a utility bill!" When the order came through, she called me in there and the first thing she did was collect my portion of the billing. Huh??? I told her I have never had to pay up front before at Quest. Her response? "When was the last time you had lab work done?" What difference does THAT make?! The attitude she emoted in that room was as thick as smoke and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Never ever going back. Quest, you reeeeally need to counsel this one on customer service.

Totally unprofessional and lack complete empathy to customer's needs and expectations! Tammy, the tech totally was dismissive of assisting with a blood draw although there was no one waiting. She claimed she had another 10 minute appointment coming, but it should not have mattered due to the fact there was no o e waiting. She was argumentative and shifted her body when dealing with me and my wife while displaying a disposition of she was NOT going to do a blood draw for my wife and rolling her eyes as if we were wasting her time. DO NOT waste your time at this location for Quest Diagnostics. The telephone system apparently is not updated to tel customers they will not see you or take the time to work you in unless you have an appointment. Totally ridiculous and unnecessary! What a waste of time. Do better, as a matter of fact if you do t want to work and earn a paycheck there are plenty of other people who are looking to work. Very unsatisfied. If I could could give this place a ZERO I would!

No. I was sent a link to schedule an exam with quest diagnostics. I did that. I came to the exam that's 20 minutes from my house with a 7 and 4 year old. I showed up and the tech said she had no records of orders sent by banner. I was told I need to figure that out. I go in the waiting room and I am on the phone for over 20 minutes while my kids are going insane. I three way called banner and a rep from quest, because the tech closed the door after telling me to figure it out. Each rep was saying it's on you, it's not banner, it's quest etc. Etc. No one was interested in helping me. The tech came out while I'm on the phone as a customer trying to resolve an issue between two contracted companies. She said you've got to calm your kids down, while she saw me trying to do that while handling a situation that should be resolved by the companies, not a customer. I told them to withdraw my claim and left because I was being asked to leave. The tech said I didn't say that to you, but that is what was being implied to me. I give this 0/10, this is incredibly frustrating, inconvenient, and I have a feeling this is not going to be an isolated incident. I hope other people don't have the same experience I did. These companies need to do better and figure out their communications system. I know I'm only one case and it doesn't matter to them, but over time if this continues it will likely snowball into a big loss of money for both businesses. Do better.

This use to be our go-to for labs but the new staff is rude and unprofessional.
