They do not have separate well children and sick children waiting rooms. When you bring your children in for their scheduled well children check up and they catch a cold at the doctor's office, you will have to make multiple calls to be told that there will be no available appointments for your children for the next week. They will not call you back when they say they will call you back. If you're lucky they may have an appointment for one of your 3 sick kids 5 days from when you call and another appointment for the other 2, 7 days from when you call, and they'll offer you prayers and hope your kids feel better in the meantime. Why have a pediatrician that your kids can't see when they are sick. Why have a pediatrician that recommends you take your kids to urgent care for some colds because they won't see them for a week?

This place is awesome. First child, and have had random questions multiple times and the nurse line is always available, and helpful and the DR is great with our son too.

Dr. Jacob is great but front desk staff is absolutely horrible. They are no help at all! Nothing but headaches and they are quick to cut you off and be rude.

Since the office moved to its new location, our experience has significantly declined. The route to their office is inconvenient, requiring us to drive through construction sites. Unfortunately, the staff has become increasingly rude and unprofessional. The care my child receives is inconsistent, often leaving us confused about follow-up instructions and with unclear or incorrect information. Don't waste your time or money.

I recently had a horrible experience with this pediatric office due to their poor record management. Initially, they diagnosed a condition for my son. On the day of the scheduled appointment, we called to inform them that we would be late and asked if we should reschedule. They assured us that it was fine and told us to come in anyway.
Upon our arrival, they informed us that since this was an initial diagnosis, we needed to complete a form. Despite knowing it was not an initial diagnosis, they then acknowledged it. However, due to their mix-up and miscommunication, it was now too late for my son to be seen by the doctor.
This experience demonstrated their inability to keep up with records and manage appointments effectively. As a result, we are switching to another pediatric office.

It is soo hard to get hold of anyone on the phone, especially the referral department. The phone goes straight to voicemail and no one calls you back. Same case with appointment line, they will keep you on hold and good luck if anyone answer the phone. Overall doctors are good especially Dr. Jacob.

Front desk isn’t helpful and seems to always have an attitude. The billing department recorded my information inaccurately for insurance and didn’t seemed phased by it when I pointed it out. The doctors are nice but your experience will be agonizing dealing with everyone else who works there.

We love this place. I think they hired new receptionists and office staff since we first came here 5 months ago because I have noticed a positive shift in my experience from the moment I walk in until the moment I leave. The pediatricians are awesome!!! We love Dr. Benson and have also seen Dr. smith for a sick visit. Great doctors. You can expect amazing care and kindness towards patients and parents, and positivity and organization from all employees!

This practice could definitely do better with just answering their call and getting back to us parents when we’re following up on our kids. It takes ages to get someone on the phone to even schedule an appointment and once they do and you mention the fact that you’ve been calling for a while, you don’t get any apology or reason for the delay.

I am really disappointed in Pecan Tree Pediatrics. My daughter has been a patient since she arrived in this world. I gave poor and fair ratings only because my toddler was misdiagnosed and the appointment was a complete waste of my time. I brought her into you guys care because a mother’s intuition knows. She had been sick 5 days and using over the counter meds which wasn’t working and why I brought her into you care. ( runny nose, cough, rattle in her chest and back barley able to breathe properly while sleeping). Her doctor barely touched her and we were told “oh she’s fine and to continue to use the over the counter meds and she should be good to go in 3 days it’s just a common cold.” I did explain that the over the counter meds that her doctor named off weren’t working which is why I brought her in what other options do we have? Her doctor then tells me she would be fine. I then asked for a covid, RSV, flu testing and was told that my results would be back in later that afternoon… no call back. I called three times on Friday to get the results myself and left a message to whom ever are in labs to obtain those result and they failed to return my calls back. After my appointment I did not feel comfortable bringing my child back home just to rest and continue to give the same medication what wasn’t and hasn’t worked since she’s been sick for 5 days. So I took matters into my own hands and had my child seen by another doctor at a hospital who INSTANTLY stated soon as he walked into the room that he did not like how she’s breathing barley walking into the room. She was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection antibiotic and breathing treatments were giving and as of today my child is doing better than ever. Pecan tree has to do better and I am very upset you guys. You all are quick to have your hand out for co pays and payments each and every single visit but not giving the service that it deserves. This is the second time my child has been in and has been told “oh she’s fine” and sent on her way and it’s beginning to look more like a racial issue. I will be calling in today to try and get my child’s results and hopefully someone answers my calls.

We started with these guys when they first opened up back in 2010. They were great at first but have gone downhill since. Had an appointment for 1:30 for one of our kids, showed up and had to re-fill out a mountain of paperwork (for a kid that has been there before) when we turned it in, we were told that its now past the appointment time we wouldnt be seen.
