I was just told by the manager Marilyn, that flat ironing hair is different from pressing the hair, and that even if I choose the specific service of a basic blow-dry and Ironworks (which is listed as an addition), somehow turns into a silk press anytime they have to alter the hair from it's NATURAL state. Where is this specified on the website? Sounds like this only applies to people with straight hair ? Or, they are just finding a way to overcharge a single mother of 4. Marilyn also stated a false truth that the process on natural hair takes about 2 1/2 hours, and is more time consuming. FYI, I've never stayed any longer that 1 1/2 hours for this the services I'm requesting. My question is, what's the different technique used for flat ironing hair and pressing hair? I feel so discriminated against ?? And I will consider suing, if JC Penney does not get this issue resolved.Service: Hairstyling

Terriana P., is located in the JCP salon in Rockwall, TX. She did an amazing job on my hair! I showed her a picture of the style and highlights that I wanted and she delivered! She took her time while styling my hair, in addition to being sure that she was doing exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be returning. The ladies here do a good job. Kadedra is the best. My silk press was flawless and lasted for a couple weeks. the conversation is professional but fun. The staff seems happy and the experience was food.

Kadedra Magee of the JCPenny Hair salon Rockwall location is amazing. We called at the last minute for a perm, she fit us in and stayed late to assist us. She has an amazing personality and is a definite asset to this location. That hair salon is lucky to have her. Will definitely use her again in the future.Service: Perms

This is my new favorite place, I got the keratin smoothing treatment with Kadedra and it was amazing. She’s so easy to talk to and it was such a smooth process and she explained it to me the whole way through. The result is exactly what i wanted and better. She is the best. I look beat but that’s the before and after. definitely am going again soon

Ohhh my gosh! I’ve been to almost every salon in Rockwall, and these ladies made my dreams come true! I’m naturally very light blonde and my hair lifts fast, BUT I was a very vibrant red head a while back and almost all Rockwall salons couldn’t hide my band of red. (Red to blonde is a tough one)! I washed my hair Saturday and just kept looking and the mess of colors I had and would take whatever was open, and thank goodness I called them first! Cynthia and Lasandra got me where I wanted to be, and as a cosmetologist myself, I knew it was a challenge, and I call ‘em like I see ‘em! They are hair angels!

Food was yummy. The staff needs retrained. And covid precautions need to be taught. They were seating tables way to close together. I never seen menus being wiped or, tables being deep cleaning. Just the basic cleaning. And I had dirty rice from the other table tossed onto mine from the rag being use at the other table. Gross.My son, and husband waited 45 minutes after my daughter & I ate our food. It was really annoying. Once this improves, I will be back. Also, they didn't answer the phone. It was ringing off the hook the whole time. They really need to hire more staff. Really good food, really horrible service.

Angie is amazing!! My hair doesn’t usually do well with red but she nailed it! She listened to what I wanted and totally killed it. Also she was amazing company had me laughing the entire appointment.
