Maya was SO AWESOME with our 4 year old! She talked, played, and kept him engaged during the haircut the entire time! Will continue doing business with Maya as she was a fantastic hairdresser!

Took my 7 year old for her first real hair cut with Chelsea. She did an amazing job. Understood exactly what we wanted. Asked questions to make sure we were good throughout the whole process. Was super nice and patient with my daughter. Definitely recommend.

Thank you so much Chelsea Fennell! I have been looking for a new hairstylist for over 3 years ( basically since I moved to Texas) and I finally found one that is absolutely amazing! Chelsea does such an awesome job with cutting hair! On my first appointment she instantly made me feel so comfortable and really took time to ask questions about what I wanted! This was my second appointment with her and I cannot wait for the next one! She listens to and executes what you ask for! Not only that but she is so good at suggesting things that will help your haircut be even better! For the first time in a long time I booked my next appointment in advance! I would recommend her 10/10!

My mom and I got haircuts for my birthday and the girl who cut my hair did a terrible job. I asked her to cut it short to my shoulders and she cut it all the way to my earlobes. Not to mention it was very uneven the left side of my hair was longer then the right and the back was choppy and had tufts of hair sticking out. I had to call my sister in law to fix it.

Great front desk staff and kind stylists. Jia is an experienced stylist who had my hair looking and feeling beautiful. I would recommend him for your next appointment.
Stylist: Jia did a wonderful job with my hair. He was so experienced and helpful. He took time to learn about my hair first before beginning the service. He talked me through each step of the appointment and asked me questions along the way.

I visited this JCP Salon a few years ago in Rockwall, hoping for a new hairstyle to change it up and it was one of the biggest blessings in my life because I got to meet the incredible Maya Guzman. Not only is she my trusted hair stylist, but she's someone I now consider to be such a great friend! The moment me and Maya met, we had an instant connection and I couldn't believe not only how kindhearted and sweet this hairstylist was, but how talented she was as well! Maya deserves more credit for how amazingly talented she is. She is a pro, and she truly knows how to satisfy all of her clients by going above and beyond with excellent service each and every time. She is always reliable and flexible, making sure I'm seen and given the opportunity to get in my appointment around my hectic schedule. Make sure you visit this salon and have master Maya Guzman as your stylist; you surely won't regret it! This is coming from someone who has been there and tried that when it comes to hair and salons around the DFW area. I've even had Maya save me from some pretty brutal hairmergencies! She is seriously the best. You are in great hands with Maya at JCP Salon in Rockwall! She is always efficient with her work, leaving my hair looking fabulous!

I visited JCP on a weekday for the first appointment of the day. I needed a haircut and had scheduled an appointment with Maya. She talked to me about my hair, what I wanted and got details to make sure we were on the same page. She was professional and sweet and even though the power went out after about 5 minutes, she was able to finish the cut and walk me up front to the door. I love my haircut!

Came in for a haircut. Had to walk in back to find someone as nobody was at front desk for five plus minutes.There was literally nobody in this place and they told me they had no availability the entire day. The place was empty.Went somewhere else.

I was just told by the manager Marilyn, that flat ironing hair is different from pressing the hair, and that even if I choose the specific service of a basic blow-dry and Ironworks (which is listed as an addition), somehow turns into a silk press anytime they have to alter the hair from it's NATURAL state. Where is this specified on the website? Sounds like this only applies to people with straight hair ? Or, they are just finding a way to overcharge a single mother of 4. Marilyn also stated a false truth that the process on natural hair takes about 2 1/2 hours, and is more time consuming. FYI, I've never stayed any longer that 1 1/2 hours for this the services I'm requesting. My question is, what's the different technique used for flat ironing hair and pressing hair? I feel so discriminated against ?? And I will consider suing, if JC Penney does not get this issue resolved.Service: Hairstyling
