So there are many places to take your car for an inspection. I have two vehicles so it's a pain to take them both for oil changes and then state inspections. In March, I had an oil change and I thought it might be too early since my inspection sticker was due in September, however somebody here told me it wasn't too early so I had the state inspection done. Imagine my annoyance when I found out the inspection was due between July 30 and September 30. for the registration of course. I came in annoyed but prepared to pay again... but I didn't have to do that. I went out feeling like I had just had a visit with a good neighbor. These guys absolutely put the Rock in Rockwall Brakes Plus on Goliad. Very happy I was not grilled for my part in lack of researching, instead, Chris Stockert, who has taken over as general manager in October 2023 simply said, "...not a problem, we will redo at our expense.". I think we can all agree that customer non-service is abundant in the world and locally right now, but not at Brakes Plus. I will continue to do business here as long as I live in Rockwall.. And by the way, the bad reviews seem to center around people who have made appointments to bring their cars in. I'm very happy these people even offer appointments as some do not. If these guys are to cars like doctors are to people, appointments, run, long keep that in mind and also keep in mind, they have a nice key drop if you want to bring your car in the night before. Just my two cents..

They totally messed up my sons car here, just putting spark plugs in! Came out with check engine light on and drive train warning, no power and shaking. The customer service and communication were horrible. Had to take it to a different Brakes Plus to fix what this one messed up. Two days worth of headaches. Do not take your vehicle here.

I had a 9 o'clock appointment, arrived @ 8:45 for a basic oil change, car was taken back at 9:25, was told the oil plug was stripped.. would be about a 15-20 dollar charge? Agreed to the charge, an hour and half later I had to ask for an estimated time frame, " oh we don't have the part, I will go pick it up " I have no idea why they didn't give me a heads up on waiting for the part? I have never waited for a basic oil change for two and a half hours, 8:45-11:20 with an appointment. No apologies and charged more than the quoted price. Several customers were there before me and still there when I left. Seems they were getting brake work done, I would not recommend for an oil change.

I've been a few times and this shop is the best around. I've brought multiple problems from previous shops and they have done a stellar job of diagnose and FIXING the issue all in a timely manner. So thankful to have a shop like them. They are my good to place for here on out!

This is my home store and they do all my alignments and brake rotor/pad replacements. Like every Brakes Plus location I've ever been to in DFW, service is amazing and the definition of southern hospitality. Prices are transparent and there are online coupons for almost everything. I have access to lifetime warranty for some car parts, and they gladly use my provided parts and simply charge me labor. I can't recommend them enough!

every time I make an appointment I'm still waiting 1 to 1 1/2 hours. what gives? Why have an appointment if it's going to take that long. Don't take so many appointments that you can't get your customers taken care of in a timely manner. Again I had to leave without getting my oil change done.

We were serviced by Lamon at this brakes plus and he was great. Nice and helpful and had great conversation. A real family man. Would recommend his service to anyone needing brakes.

Have always had great experiences at this location but this weekend after making an appt, my vehicle didn’t get pulled back until an hour and half after my appt time. Then 3 hours after my appt, they told me they diagnosed the same issue I brought it in with. Finally got out of there 5 hours after my appt. My planned Saturday became a day sitting in the lobby watching others come and go.Super disappointed in this appt.ETA: brakes plus, your email address was kicked back as undeliverable because the email doesn’t exist.

I deal with customer service A LOT and the fact that I have been sitting here over 2 hours after my appointment, and not a single person has apologized or said anything to me…. Worst customer service I have ever seen. What’s the point of making an appointment if i have to wait? Don’t go here unless you have nothing else to do with your day than sit around..Edit : I see recent reviews that say that Lyfts were provided. To only men? Why wasn’t I provided one if I literally had to wait hours ? Hmmm very sketchy.

This Brakes Plus location is always busy when I come in. The wait is sometimes long but the service and staff are aboveboard. I trust them to take their time and get my vehicles right .They have free courtesy Lyft service for those that don't want to wait while their vehicle is getting serviced. I wouldn't take my vehicles to any place else.
