First time staying in this cozy, comfy, very well maintained hotel. Can't believe how much antique furniture and decor adorns this building. Can't wait to show pictures and videos to my friends and family.

My family is from Rocksprings, we never lived there but visited often, sometimes we stayed in this hotel. That was 60 years ago. We had the occasion to visit Rocksprings recently, we took a nostalgic trip to the hotel. The owner was so welcoming, we toured the downstairs and talked to a lovely lady sitting on the veranda.Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I was in town for a motorcycle rally & stayed at the hotel. What a great little place. Debra made it seam like it was my room upstairs. The hotel is old but beautiful. I’ll be staying here from now on during the Texas Iron Motorcycle Rally.

I was leading three friends on a 1100 mile dual sport motorcycle trip around the Texas Hill Country. Two were from Minnesota and had never been in the Hill Country. This place is a combo between a B&B and small hotel and is owned and operated by a very sweet lady. The rooms were all very clean with comfortable beds and furnishing. My bathroom was dated and small but very clean. The first floor is an open space for all. We purchased some beer and made ourselves comfortable sitting in the living room chatting. I would definitely come back to this place if ever in the area again.

We spent two nights, May 13 and 14, 2022 and could not have been more pleased. The ambiance was unique and incomparable. Our suite was immaculate and our hostess, Debra, was delightful. We’ll be back and I can enthusiastically recommend the Rocksprings Historic Hotel!!!

My reviews are not as eloquent as others, but this is a great place to stay. Our room was a bit small but there are several open rooms you are welcome in. Even the kitchen if you are so inclined. Debra was an excellent hostess. Will certainly stay again when in the area.

This place is really nice. It is a two story rather old building with great character! The lady that runs it is very nice and has a cute little black guard dog.

Lovely historic hotel. This would be a good place for a group. A reunion. A retreat. They have an amazing kitchen and lots of space downstairs. Quiet town. Some nearby sightseeing.a museum.

This reportedly was built as a luxury hotel when they thought the railroad was coming to Rocksprings. The railroad never came, but the hotel retains the layout of large dining rooms, parlor, and other public rooms. The proprietor is very helpful. The rooms are on the small side (although probably considered large back when the hotel was built) and beds are comfortable. The bathroom had a tub, not just a shower. The hotel has wifi, although I didn't test it out.One of the public rooms downstairs has a large flat-panel TV, and the wrap-around balcony with chairs and tables is available to all guests.Coffee can be made in the room, but the proprietor also makes a fresh pot downstairs in the kitchen early every morning. And, the kitchen is available for guests to cook their own meals.Even though my room faced the main (courthouse) square of the town, there was no noise because there was no traffic. This is a good place to stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint historic hotel while traveling on our motorcycle through the Hill Country and Twisted Sisters. Deborah and Craig were enjoyable hosts, and Kelso was especially friendly. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Every amenity available. The breezes on the porch were refreshing. Definitely worth the stay--we have already recommended it to others.

A true Texas treasure at corner of this cute little town square. The lady there knows a lot about things to do in the area and the local history.
