Our Airbnb host canceled on us less then 24 hrs before our daughters bday weekend trip. So I was panicked trying to find someone else when I came on to this wonderful women Shirley! Omg she was the best thing ever and the sweetest person we’ve ever met! So helpful got us a room and even made it special for our girl! Place was so quiet, clean and relaxing. We loved it and will definitely be back again! Thank you again Shirley you are an angel!!!

Shirley the Mgr. is the greatest! Service, knowledge and her experience are top notch. Facilities are spot on. You can’t ask for anything more! Weekends or long term…give them a call!

There are many RV campgrounds in Rockport to choose. There are few who offer the amenities of Salt Water Flats. Shirley, the office manager lives on-site and does her utmost to provide the best camping experience for guests. The grounds are immaculately kept and the facilities are clean. The pool is the place where many guests congregate to swim, visit and partake in an occasional "adult beverage." For guests who travel with pets, you'll be glad to know the campgrounds have lush St. Augustine grass between campsites. We did not encounter a single sticker burr during our visit.
We hope to return before the end of the summer. Shirley, thank you for being a great camp host!

We have spent two winters at SWF and it's been the perfect park for us. It's so well maintained and the management works so hard to accommodate everyone. We met some of our closest friends here, and we are forever grateful. Each year has brought so much fun and more new friends. Even our family stayed with us this year and It was loved by all. It's quiet, it's clean and spacious. They are expanding and it'll be fun to see the new additions.

We just finished our second winter here and it is nothing shy of amazing. The sites are all concrete, big and very well maintained. The pool area is amazing, although we wish they were heated. But still lovely, nonetheless. The rec room is great for social gatherings or park activities. Shirley and staff were amazing. Very accommodating and they go out of their way to help the guests. This is a quiet park located close to beaches, shopping and nightlife. We can’t wait to come back this winter! Thank you all for another wonderful stay.

My husband and I stayed here in March of this year.
What a fantastic place!
We were looking for a spot last minute, and it worked out perfectly that a spot has just opened up there.
Shirley, the manager, was one of the reasons we took the available spot. She is such a wonderful host, she is one of the reasons we want to return.
We met some wonderful people there as well, who are now good friends!
The resort is very well maintained. Lawn, trees.. everything is spotless. The pools are great, although I wish they were heated. But still live the pool area and tiki bar!
We did have some people at the park that were causing some issues, gossiping about and making others uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, it's not uncommon in any park or resort, and should not reflect on the park itself or the management.
Compated to other resorts we've been to, the management here has been the best, as well as park maintenance.
I heard they are expanding, and can't wait to see what they do. We will definitely return!

We LOVE SWF! We spent the past two winters there and absolutely love the managers. The park is clean, well kept, and full of fun. We’ve met our best friends there and we all love meeting back up every year. Two pools are great and I can’t wait to see the new improvements they are making as they expand the park. Thank you for maintaining a great park!

Concrete pads and large RV sites that are well maintained, and a nice pool (unheated) that they keep clean. A dog park would be a nice addition.
The park itself is wonderful however, management is unprofessional and likes to gossip with campers as well as start some pretty horrible rumors about others. Mistee, Shirley and future workamper Kris May seem to be stuck in a high school girl mentality and are very much a "mean girl clique".
Nearby activities: Tons to do with Rockport and their many festivals and Port Aransas nearby
Safety: Seems to be a safe area and we had no concerns about our safety while we were there

An absolute gem, a small quiet park run very efficiently. Shirley and Woody looked after the place as it was their own. Antonio and Renae kept the grounds impeccable. We met many new friends along the Winter Texans. Everyone was great to hang out with, from the planned social events to just grabbing a bite with another couple. Memories are made at Saltwater Flats.

This park is an absolute gem. The park hosts have been stellar from the start. Shirley and Woody are hard working, on point and friendly. Reservations were simple, well communicated and site was above expectations. Our site is paved, large (accommodates rv, vehicle/boat) and comes with working cable and our own personal wifi router.
Mistee who handles events brought a LOT of fun to the park. We had pool gatherings, catered dinners, rock paintings, movie nights, music and etc. She did a great job and works very well with Shirley. Everyone seems to be in sync here.
I like the location. In between rockport and aransas pass, we had great access to grocery, restaurants and beach/entertainment.
Maybe we got lucky but the people at this park are special. If you are a good person, you will find forever family here.

Love this RV Park on Route 35 south of Rockport, TX. Spacious, clean sites with lots of trees for shade. Friendly folks and accommodating management and staff. Appreciated all the help and information that Shirley provided during our stay at the park. Highly recommend this RV park. We will be back!

Great place to stay we make multiple trips a year to fish and it's fantastic. There plenty of space to park our RV,Truck & boat all on our site pad which is really nice. The new pool area is awesome to relax after a long day out on the water. Love the place definitely recommend it

Large concrete pads, 2 pools, clean bathrooms with showers, shaded lounging area by the pools, internet, and cable along with the nicest manager, Shirley. We spent 5 nights and will return!!! Thank you!!!
