We enjoyed our stay very much. The spot we had for our RV was excellent. The office staff were easy to work with. The property and restrooms were tidy and clean. The local residents we came across were all very nice and friendly. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Rockport.Safety: We felt safe and secure especially since there were people who live there full time around.Walkability: Easy to walk all around the park.

Folks here is a problem that really needs to be addressed. Front entrance road needs paved bad, trees need trimmed up. Trees are scratching moving units. BBQ pits need to be on sites, fish cleaning area needs to be on site, picnic tables need to be on site. Also should always have someone take you to your site, also help with placing them on site as well as backing campers in. The streets are way too narrow. Increase your RV store. Have more activity’s for your camper’s. Movie night inside and outside as weather permits, pool tournament’s, poker nights. ECT. Activities are easy to do and come up with. Just have to do a little thinking for the good of your RV Park. Also have either contracted Security Patrolling or in house Security Patrolling. A lot of these suggestions can come from work campers for each season or even permanent residents. You have a nice place with great potential, just enhance and capitalize on what can be done as well as what should be done. Bottom line is that, it is all about building an environment that Camper’s would be proud to always keep your RV Park at the top of their list to come to. On a last note. Increase the size of your site numbers for the hard to see folks. If you look at all your RV Parks with corporate sense and not with basic common sense. It will become a vicious circle that will never be solved. I might add that we were at the Rockport, Texas RV Park. I grew up in Aransas Pass, Texas. But my wife and I come down from Tyler, Texas from time to time for family business. I remember when that area was overgrown with Brush and there was one of the greatest BBQ restaurant overlooking the big ponds and lots of fowl on property, from Peacocks to Geese to Ducks. It was an awesome place for peaceful gatherings and awesome BBQ with extremely cold Rootbeer,as well as Beer.Noteworthy details: Read the top excerpt. Might be worth reading.

We booked this place for a week. I told the lady who took my reservation that my 5th wheel is triple axle, 47' long. We arrived and got our paperwork off the front door of the office which was closed. We drove our jeep over to see the site and figure out the best way in. After driving back there, it didnt take long to reslize there was no way to get my rig back there with all the low trees and othet obstacles. There was a sign on the office saying do not park in empty rv sites. I booked at a other campground nearby. I called RJourney to let them know. The guy on the phone was at some central booking office and he was a jerk. I owned and operated a park for 16 years. I know what is right and what is wrong. These folks have a great park in Livinhston, LA. our great expwriences there is reason we decided to give the facility in Rockport a try. BIG MISTAKE !I want a refund. I dont think that is unreasonable. You have my contact information. I suggest you have one of your senior managers contact me.

I'm downgrading my rating to one star. We use this location to store our RV for vacations. Over the past week, we've experienced condescending treatment from both the corporate and local offices, despite providing evidence of our payment clearing in our bank account. They are now making threats to tow our RV due to alleged non-payment, even though we have indeed paid, and the funds have been successfully deducted from our account. This situation reflects extremely poor management and inadequately trained staff. While most of the staff at the Rockport office are pleasant, some are exceptionally rude. Additionally, noisy neighbors often engage in late-night games of cornhole, disrupting our peace and quiet.

We reserved a concrete pull through spot for our 21’ trailer at your place w/Chris. Luckily we arrived before closing because we got nothing we had reserved. Monica and her manager were gracious enough to accommodate us and we were able to move. That being said this place needs paving or re-paving as it is terribly bumpy and narrow to go in/out of. There is an awful ant problem. There’s ants even in the bathrooms. Oh, and the wi-fi is useless. We called the front desk but they were not helpful either. Glad we were only there 2 nights?Safety: It was quiet and felt safe.

Noteworthy details: We were visiting after a family members wake/ celebration of life. The clubhouse was large enough to accommodate a larger group than we had and was very nice and clean.
