I live locally in Rockport and I just went in there and the big ole dude that waited on me was so incredibly rude. They need to put these disgruntled employees in check!!! I’m not sure what his issue was but he picked the wrong woman today to be an unprofessional jerk!!

I can say one thing about this store . it's the best dollar general store, the Manger really worked to get the store up to date and is very professional. Michelle is the best person u will meet, John Christopher Solis.

Don't bother shopping here they just went to full self checkout. In return I'm sure some people lost their jobs. Wal-Mart has learned that self checkout causes major theft increases. I guess Dollar General didn't get that memo. ?

This Dollar General is about average in size and has all the usual offerings of home decor, soft drinks, food, laundry detergent, ice cream, pizza, milk, and even some cold beer (no craft beer). They have cosmetics, cold medication, toys (like hot wheels), reloadable prepaid phone cards, and DVDs. Outside the store front, you'll notice they sell ice, propane tanks, and even have a Redbox DVD rental. Apparently, they also handle Western Union orders. This place is a little better than your average convenience store without the gas. The photos tell you more.

This is an excellent store to stop to for wherever your needs I recommend it to all friends and family they're the staff is very awesome very knowledgeable and went out your way to help you I would recommend Dollar general so all my friends and family
