I was recently in the Brookshire Store in Rockdale, TX, where this deli worker was blowing her nose around the food that was being served to the public. I immediately contacted the store manager regarding this matter. This week I was in the location and decided to give the deli a try again. The same worker, that blew her nose around the food two weeks ago, served me and decided to retaliate by putting one of her work gloves inside my bag with my food. I reported this incident to store manager. We have vulnerable community members , who have health challenges and should not be impacted by this unsanitary behavior. Where is the consideration ? The bible speaks about how we should love one another and look out for each other. I must say I am very disappointed. This store has lost my loyalty and trust.

Easy to get to, pleasant folks in a modest small town grocery. Everything you expect to find, Worth your business if you're shopping for basic groceries.

Most of the time it's pretty busy with one register open. But, most of the workers are super helpful. One specific worker is always letting people know about sales and specials that they are currently having. And the ladies in the deli always seem to be having a good time. I love seeing people with good attitudes.

A small grocery store in a small town that has big standards. Yeah it's not a HEB plus, or a super target, or whatever... it is a small grocery store that is doing things right! Clean fresh and friendly... those are the 3 best words to describe it. Nice fresh produce with a descent selection... a pharmacy... and lots of beer! (And clean bathrooms) It really has everything you'd expect at even your big places just a little less selection and slightly higher prices. The employees were very nice and offered help, asked if I found everything I was looking for, and thanked me for shopping there. Nice people, nice place, descent selection.

Love the facts it's not huge and always cold in there but the prices are rather high and employees aren't very friendly
