“THIS LOCATION WAS GREAT. HOWEVER...My overall experience with uhaul was AWFUL. After reserving a trailer three days in advance, I was called the morning of pick up and told we would have to travel to another city 30 min south to pick it up because there was not one in waco. The woman who called who claimed to be a "manager" of the call center offered NO alternatives. No suggestions. No help. She attempted nothing to make it right. I called the Waco store for help, and they helped me find an option at an affiliate. There is no way we could have traveled 30 min (at least) in the WRONG direction to get the trailer that day. We were going north to pick up our son from camp. Temple is south. The phone lady had no sympathy, no emotion whatsoever. I will not use uhaul again. BTW, we have four children and seem to be moving the adult ones all the time (another coming up in August moving to Waco). In addition, we used the "pods" for months while we remodeled. This issue on Friday completely ruined any confidence I had in uhaul. If you cannot keep reservations, do not have a website to make the reservation. There are too many factors in a move to have someone tell you "sorry" the day of the move. It is just wrong.”

“We can’t say enough nice things about Holt Truck Center, particularly Roman and Ron. We had a mechanical failure on I-35 and immediately happened to pull into Holt Truck Center parking lot. Both Roman and Ron came out to assist us as we discovered we had a broken axle on our RV. They helped us find a tow company and then told us they could replace the axle as well. We worked with them thru insurance to get the axle replacement. We are extremely satisfied with the work, their communications, and their commitment to helping us when we were in a bind. However, Jose at Pack Sign Deliver & More, 1000 W Waco Drive, with his awesome personality, made this the best Uhaul rental experience ever. Jose told me if I ever needed to rent again to let him know and he would take care of me. The incredible customer service I received will make this my go-to location going forward.”
“I bought a hitch from them which they installed.
Communication was difficult and we miscommunicated a number of times about when they could install the hitch.
But what makes this a five star review is that when the manager, Sonia, came in she helped me understand where things had gone wrong. She went above and beyond any reasonable expectations to make it right. Ultimately she brought an employee in special to put on my hitch.
When I didn’t think they could do the job I called around for someone else to do the work and even counting a lost day of work as part of the price due to miscommunication their cost was hundreds less than other hitch installers.”
