“A well-curated selection of treasures, backed by fantastic customer service. Unlike some of the other antique and vintage stores in the area, the finds at Junque in the Trunk are thoughtfully arranged, and likely will give you a few new ideas. I always find something I love when I visit! On my last visit, Denise and Stephanie were amazing - helping us load two sets of shelves quickly and efficiently. It's a definite must on your next visit to Waco!!”

The store is only open ONE WEEKEND PER MONTH so be sure to find out which weekend that is before driving from out of town. The owner spends the month purchasing items and getting set up for the monthly sale and she does a fantastic job!”
“If you like treasure hunting, you'll definitely want to visit The Junky Monkey! They have some amazing finds (at reasonable prices) and they go out of their way to help. There are SO MANY nooks and crannies, and so much to discover if you love delightfully imperfect or aged to perfection one-of-a-kind pieces. Found a perfect narrow bookshelf on my last visit (with TWO runners up!) Whether you're a Waco local, or in town to visit the Silos or Baylor, it's a great place to explore!”

“Went in today (8/19/2022). The store is full of great stuff. I would have liked to stay longer but it was incredibly hot in the store. I felt bad for the ladies who work in there and I felt especially bad for the cat who lives in there. The cat is over 20 years old and it looked like the heat was making it miserable.”

“Yesterday was my first time in Appaloosa Trading Post and it was AWESOME! They have rustic everything! Guns, ammo, saddles, reins, furniture, purses, jewelry, quilts, cowboy/cowgirl hats, you name it… it’s there! And prices are great! If you’re looking for anything farmhouse/rustic - this is your place!”
