Worth the cost, and I'll be back next year for sure.They really did a fantastic job and it was substantially easier than anything I've done in previous years. The process was smooth start to finish and well explained.Reviewing based solely on the people, quality of service, what you got for what you paid, and the convenience (the entire drop off documents, come back for a review, etc. process makes it very easy, even with complex taxes) easily a 5 star experience.Also, I was impressed by how well they handle documents (scanning ones I brought in, letting me upload what I could online, getting copies of things at the end nicely organized, etc.) as someone that prefers organization and likes to keep records up of things like taxes, it was nice.

I have been doing my own taxes all of my life, since the age of 16. This was the first year after decades doing it on my own that I decided to have someone else do it. It was wonderful. No googling. No call center waits on hold to speak with someone to help. Well worth the money. I was able to talk with a professional and go over a few what if scenarios. Thoroughly pleased.

The person doing my taxes was professional but I was overcharged $329 for doing my tax return and still have not received a refund for this overcharge. I called H&R Block corporate complaint line twice and was hung up on both times. I work with people from all over the world everyday but could not understand the first person and I was hung up on. I called back and the second person was just rude and hung up on me, unbelievable!!! I've tried calling the local office but they are closed. In the meantime the IRS has sent me a letter for errors on my tax return. I can assure you I will never use them again.
