It was my first time. I have tried several nail salons in the area but, if they don’t have issues, I may have found my permanent salon.
Cleanliness: The store was very clean.

During this Pandemic and the ability to move about, Wanderlust is taking great measures to protect their customers.
They only allow for a a few customers to secure social distancing. All technicians wear masks. They don't allow for dual services at the same time, Mani and pedi. Each service is separate to secure the distancing. Mani techs at chairside wear face aheilda over the masks. Manis at the table are protected by plexiglass.
I saw chairs being disinfected after each customer use.
They have hand sanitizer sitting outside on a small table for anyone to use. They require all customer to wear face masks, wash hands prior to any service and no waxing options.
I felt totally safe.

Amazing service! This was my first time receiving a manicure and pedicure from this nail salon and I am absolutely loving my nails! Kay and Lee did an amazing job! I found my new nail salon! Thank you for the excellent service you both provided! I loved the fact that they were not rushing and actually listened to what I wanted! Thanks again!

I wish they automatically did cuticles and mani service. I’m definitely asking next time.

Love the results, but they change the prices every time for what you get. I went from $45 to $55 for the same nail type / shape and they can never be consistent… the first time it was “short” the second time it was “long” even though I asked for short. They verbally told me a price before beginning then added to it at the end… again, wonderful quality but I hate the back and forth. I’d happily pay the price if that’s what was on the menu or something that I’ve been told upfront. At this point it’s just the principle that’s the issue.

Came in on July 3, 2024, around 6 PM, walk-in. LEFT WITH CHEMICAL BURNS.
I visited this nail salon for the first time to have my nails and toes done. I began with a pedicure, then "Kay" came over to do my nails. I showed her a picture of oval nails with French tips. She started by quickly gluing on the nails and began shaping them. After she finished my first hand, I politely mentioned, "I actually wanted them more round." Suddenly, she became defensive. Despite my relaxed demeanor and approach, she was argumentative and completely dismissed me, arguing that "round" and "oval" are not the same. Oval is a rounded shape, not pointed like a stiletto, which is what she was creating. However, the real issue was her terrible attitude. My issue with nail technicians is this: if you're unable to perform a certain style, just be upfront about it. There's no need to dismiss clients or make them feel inadequate for commenting on the service they're receiving. I informed her that I didn't want her to continue and asked her to remove the nails. She then submerged both hands in a bowl of acetone. When she finally finished, my hands came out with chemical burns all over them. She softened her stance after seeing the damage and apologized for the burns, but it was too late.
I explained everything to the receptionist, but he too was defensive. Although he apologized, he showed no real sincerity or remorse for the situation.
I won't be returning, but I hope my review can serve as a warning for others who may be swayed by positive reviews, as I was. I urge you to CHOOSE A DIFFERENT SALON. This experience was exceptionally bad; also contrary to what the receptionist implied, I am experienced with acetone and nail treatments (I do nails myself and have been getting it done for years), and I’ve never had such bad burns in my life. This place should be ashamed of the service they provided and the harm done to my hands.

As a recent transplant to this area, I've been thrilled to discover the exceptional service quality at this salon. I treated myself to a Deluxe Manicure and Onsen Pedicure, which was a truly comforting experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere. The soothing music even had me quietly singing along in my chair! The technicians were skilled, attentive, and made sure I was relaxed throughout my treatments. My nails look fabulous, and I'm so glad to have found my new go-to spot for pampering.

Have been going for almost 3.5 years, and I have never been disappointed! Excellent service every visit for full services. Exceptional consistently! My sister travels from Cypress to Richmond because she loves this place too!

I come here too often to not post a review.. Absolutely love this salon! From the customer service to the actual work done, I give it a 5/5. I often bring this salon up when asked for recommendations and I'll continue to be a loyal customer for as long as I can (I'd either have to move out the area or decide to stop getting my nails done which will be unlikely lol)

Unfortunately disappointed with our experience. My daughter and I both got pedicures and full sets. I asked for powder french tip but the lady did shellac. And apparently deep french tip which I didnt even know what that was but was charged an extra $10 for. Nails are super uneven paint wise, thickness, and length. Initially I was just frustrated with my nails but got home and noticed, toes were painted horribly and my daughters nails are spotty and acrylic is uneven. The man at the front offered to redo my nails but unfortunately we already spent 2 hours there and had somewhere to be and I work 6 12hr shifts starting tomorrow. But I was hoping Id be able to make time to have my fixed. When we got home I noticed all the other issues, Every service we received was poorly done. Wont come again and would advise others to look for other options too.

Hunter did a great job. He got the right shape and patiently worked on my nails. The front desk staff/manager was also very welcoming and nice. I will go there again. Also, the price is very reasonable.
