I have been crying for half an hour since leaving this store. I felt stereotyped. I shop here and just last week , I got two perfumes . So sometimes I just like to go in and see if there are new things I would like to try out or just discover new items in general especially perfumes. Got in and the lady at the register left the register to just follow me about. She asked if I needed something and I said I was fine . There were other customers but maybe because I am a black lady she was just following me to the extent I became uneasy . Then I started trying a perfume out and she asked me if I wanted to buy it? Mind you, this was a tester and I told her I had bought two perfumes and not really sure if I like one of them so might want to exchange it so I am just checking to see if there is something I will like better . Then she said if I have opened the perfume I can’t return . I have only sprayed this perfume once , the day I bought it . I am a perfume collector and I buy most of them from Ulta. The Sephora next to it does not have a large variety of perfumes and macys is really far. Even sometimes when I don’t want to buy I like to come around to discover new scents. I told her that was not true that I just bought it and only used it once and she started to argue. I went to another lady at the register and reported the matter and she said the lady was new . I was the only black person at the time and this lady staff picked on me to treat me so differently from everyone else. Ensured she made my shopping experience uncomfortable that I had to leave the store . Only positive side is that she saved me some bucks because I could have gone for a new fragrance. I came in with my 6 year old daughter and I cried because the whole experience was so humiliating.

I love this Ulta location specifically because the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. The salon located in the back of the store is also very nice! Variety of professional products and services.

I am very disappointed I spent a lot of money on this store in a monthly basis this time I spent $80 I ask for my birthday gift and the employee reply “ we are out of gift “ (monotone voice) and I came home and find out there was a coupon that I didn’t use. They don’t talk about coupons that may benefit customers.

Went in because of the 21days specials they have going on, and when I would ask help trying to locate the name/style of MAC Lipstick everyone would just tell me "Oh, its over there where the MAC lipsticks are at." "Oh, that one is not on sale its only certain." "Oh the name of that lipstick is at the bottom." While everyone was just standing talking to each other, it was almost closing time and I used to work in retail so I know how it works and by 6p.m. of course everyone wants to go home and enjoy their Sunday so help the customers so the staff can leave on time!!! The ONLY HELPFUL PERSON was Melanie, she asked me if I needed help and I told her which lipstick I was looking for and she checked and they were out of stock and she said she could order and it could be shipped to my home for free, Melanie did my transaction and everything went to smooth with her. If in need of help finding something, Melanie is very helpful and nice!

I went in on Sunday needing a good skincare start and some tips. Yari, in the Clinique spot was super attentive and very knowledgable. She took the time to explain to me how to use and when to use the products. It was such an amazing feeling having a great customer service expirience after going to different stores and feeling like i'm bothering the staff. I will totally be back to get more stuff and hope to get that same expirience i had. Thank you yari so much.

My sister friend wanted a makeup experience while visiting for a special occasion. I brought her to Shops of Bella Terra - Ulta Beauty. And she loves it.I had Marissa give me new options, which I loved. She is very good. Not to mention, both fun and professional. And the look held up. Thanks, Marissa.

The first time I went there, the lady in Clinique was soo sweet and helpful. Helped me get the perfect foundation match. I really like her.The second visit there was different. Jeal or Jeleal (can't remember her name) didn't even look at me. Didn't say hi, give me a complete sentence, and rushed everything when no one was behind me. At the end, I told her "Hey!" She finally looked up, and then I told her to have a nice day.. I worked in customer service for years, you don't treat customers like they're inconveniencing you. She needs a training class in customer service.

I've been trying new color for my hair. I was completely impressed with the advice from Lisa. She listened to le and made suggestions. First, time I thought I'd try the second recommendation versus the first and was not as pleased as when I went back and took her first recommendation. It is perfect. She also give a great hair cut!!

I just want to shoutout Yari and I really hope she sees this somehow- finding your concealer color can be such a dreadful task especially when employees seem dismissive or dont want to help. Yari was really approachable and sweet, she did not make me feel rushed, and genuinely wanted to help find the right shade- this may seem minor but it meant alot after past experiences at other makeup stores. Thank you Yari! :)

Major changes need to be made in this store and the 1093 store, there's a difference in customer service in trying to be nice and in fairly trying promote production just to meet store goals, staff really aren't genuine in recommending products and I was grossly mislead and way way over charged at the salon at the Bella Terra Salon, Rachel...I've been an Ulta loyalty member for 12+ years.. really rethinking my loyalty.
