Poorest skills with customer service I’ve ever received in my life. I wanted to was get a refund for something that couldn’t be picked up as I arrived at 8:59 to pickup.
For some back ground to the story, I placed an online order with their website and thought it had selected the store on Highway 6, by my apartment, but I guess since I was at the Costco, it had defaulted to the nearest location, which was the location in Richmond. I checked in at the wrong location (and didn’t realize it until about 8:36 after no one had brought my order to curbside) I called the Grand Pkwy store to let them know I had made a mistake and I was going to rush to their location. I showed up at exactly 8:59 to pick it up. The employee “Robbie” said it was too late. I didn’t argue and I was totally cool with the rules so no worries I was disappointed as it was not 9 yet but I said I would just pick it up on Monday.
Literally as soon as I hung up, my partner reminded me that I should just take the refund and place the order at the store by the house so I don’t have to drive to Richmond to pick it up.
I think he is probably scared I was going to call to argue about the rules (just assumed by me) so he just let the phone ring more than almost a minute until finally a nice elderly gentleman picked up. I explained to him that I just hung up and wanted to see if they would go ahead and refund it to the card. The nice man said Robbie was no longer there and didn’t think that he could be reached until Monday. I mean I’ve never seen such poor management skills. I literally just hung up with a guy Would never use this store or this franchise again. Hopefully this guy finds a job better suited for his antisocial skills like getting the carts from the parking lot. Don’t mean to be rude (like he was) but can’t believe what poor service this was. I just wanted to get a refund and go to the correct store. What an overreaction on his part. No I will never use a total wines and more for anything. You may pay a little extra at specs, but you also get a good customer service. Take a look at the screenshots of the times I spoke to the guy.

Terrible service, they didn’t let my parents buy there products just because I was under 21 which doesn’t matter because I’m under their supervision and I know my rights. As well they weren’t nice at all I hear them saying under their breath,”they should left her in the car”. Never going back there again.

One the best wine and liquor shops with very friendly staff which will help you to pick the best if you are new.
You will get most of everything you are looking for.

Travis the manager went above and beyond to try to help me find a bottle of mead I've been trying to track down. He was extremely helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

Angela checked me out. She was just unpleasant. She stood there, no greeting and looked at me like I need to ring myself up. A big white guy followed me all around the store.I noticed it but ignored him. When I came face to face with him he thoroughly scanned my basket with his eyes. Yeah, will not return.

Super strong selection, neat organization and competitive pricing.
Free and ample parking.
After trying Total Wine & More, I don’t plan to come back to Specs, even if I have to drive 10miles farther, given the better selection and pricing.

Came in to purchase wine, liquor, and beer for a party next weekend. Matt took quite a bit of time to show me a variety of options within my price range and taste profile. Will definitely check in with him on my return visit.
