First time customer here. Customer service was great. We were in and out in less than 20 mins. We will definitely be using them for our yearly gardening refresh.

I don't own a business, I just needed rocks for a home project. They worked with me and I received very good customer service. More than willing to work with us to break up the order (because of weight) and charged a very fair price. Over all, satisfied and will go back for our yearly yard needs (mulch, rocks, etc).

Drove from Louisiana to wholesale pickup, saw this place on the way elsewhere. Stopped and set up our account for our nursery/landscape company. Picked plants with one of their employees, got all of the pricing. Then we get to the office; suddenly there are substantially different prices, one of the employees in the office had no idea what was even happening.
We left our cart full and walked. You have to be consistent, you are all looking things up on networked iPads. For all we know, the wrong plants were put in the iPad - since two of the people in the back with iPads didn’t even know what a begonia was yet they magically enter in info for untagged plants.
Maybe it isn’t the norm, but this was the experience today. Too many options for that level of nonsense.

I've never seen hardwood mulch with ground up plastic trash and tin in it. I bought a load for my yard and it is just full of plastic debris. Who does this?
Update one month later. Still finding debris. But also the mulch is rotting and growing fungus.. alot of types of fungus. Idk. It's not your typical normal mulch. I did put it on pretty thick though. But I am worried long term will harm my plants.

Very accommodating and helpful staff to a retail customer (homeowner) buying for personal use in a home landscape.

Well, good materials for gardens: soil, mulch, wide stones for patios and stones for corrals. I recommend it. Low price to throw branches or leaves from trees.???

First time there, definitely geared for commercial customers. However their compost came highly recommended by the late Randy Lemon. We will see how it works.

My husband and I are long time customers and we have done business with The Ground Up for years. As times have changed we fully understand and support price changes. We are unhappy with the huge increase on debris disposal based on the trailer size rather than by cubic yard. Materials and overall customer service is ok.

Worst dirt. Bought the most expensive bag dirt for my raised beds and fruit tree pots. None of them did well. Wasted so much money. Not sure what these guys are selling. Plants are all doing so bad. Lot of them died too.
