They are always doing something to help support and show appreciation to the parents, staff and students. My daughter has learned so much going to this learning center and shes only been there for a few months. I even referred my sister a sister location and she loves it as well.. i recommend 10/10.”

“Our son started here about 6 months ago. And we've had such a great experience thus far. Front office staff is friendly and easy to get along with! Teacher communication is open and I feel comfortable voicing my concerns. My son was finally potty trained and his teachers work with me to ensure that we were being consistent with strategies both in home and in school. When my youngest was born they were flexible and would get my oldest from the car so I didn't have to bring my newborn into the school. My youngest started at 8 weeks old and it's been nothing but a positive experience. They always call if your child is absent to check on their well being too. I look forward to a wonderful future with this school as our experience has been nothing but positive since starting! ?”

“OMG!!! The amount of relief we felt after we enrolled our babies into Children’s Lighthouse of Richmond, is truly unmatched. Starting with the owners…I can’t say enough about them, their family, their faith/love/dedication, and the amazing teachers in the classrooms. People truly work for people, and I can tell by the way the teachers take care of all the kiddos, the teachers are happy! It all makes a difference!!!”

“My son has been here for 3 weeks and I can already tell you this school is amazing. He adjusted so quickly, he’s happy everytime I drop him off and waves at everyone. He’s always happy when I pick him up. The transparency from the walls in the classrooms is what won me over during the tour, you can see directly in the next class. Their curriculum is great, and I like that they have a mock cafeteria so the kids can get used to eating with their class the same way they do in elementary. Everyone we have encountered (front desk and admin staff, other teachers, etc literally everyone) has been so nice to us and I can tell they’re just as nice when I’m not around, simply because of how happy he is and his vibes around them. His teachers Ms Macy and Ms Amina are phenomenal and he loves them. This is a complete 180 experience from his previous childcare facility I am so glad I decided to move him here! 10/10 recommend.”

“We have been with KRK of Waterside for 3 years. 2 of our kids have been enrolled in the after-school program, and our youngest will be graduating from their PreK program this year. We love all of the staff, especially the administrators. You can tell that they truly have a love for children. We have enjoyed the programs that they organize for special occasions (i.e. Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.), the summer camp program, parents' night out (even my older kids still love going) and we are looking forward to the graduation program for our youngest. We feel that they are fairly priced, especially for the area, and love having access to cameras in the classroom. It has also been nice for my child to have smaller classroom sizes so that he gets the attention he needs. KRK does a good job of communicating, are responsive to any needs we have, and they let kids be kids. We will miss them next year but are thankful for the years they have dedicated to our children.”

“My daughter has been attending this school since the end of February, she just turned 3 and was on my hip since birth, at first I was a little nervous from the separation and how she'd handle it, but my heart MELTS to know how much she actually loves this school, her teachers and friends. I'm so happy that Mrs.Sama and Mr.Mathew has helped my daughter improved in so many ways with her independence, her social skills, learning and more, absolutely thankful for them and the entire staff at this school. My daughter is usually very shy and scared but within weeks of attending , I saw how she would lean towards the teachers for a hug, or would run to them when she'd have a little cry session, clearly showed me that my daughter trusts the staff here which makes me feel entirely secured and happy.”

“This day care / Montessori school is fabulous! We just relocated from California and tried multiple schools here in Texas. Even Our 4 year old noticed the difference and communicated this to us. In addition, My wife and I noticed how friendly everyone is. Everyone has a great attitude, smiles, and good energy. They all have different backgrounds and it’s very diverse. They also communicate and send daily photos and reports. We highly recommend this Montessori school!”

“We love Kiddie Academy of Aliana! We receive regular and clear communication from school administration and teacher staff, and they are always responsive when I have questions. The school even supported our infant feeding journey, which was new and different. I am very thankful for an attentive staff and kind/loving teachers, not to mention the variety of activities the kids are involved in on a daily basis. My kids are well cared for and it shows! They really love attending Kiddie Academy-Aliana and we are thankful.”

“08/23/2023: I forgot to add your child will leave there with a 1st grade education. Myself and other parents are having a hard time with Kinder as our children were taught at KRK at are past the school work given. 08/08/2023: I JUST CRIED WITH THEM TODAY. AS IT IS OUR SON'S LAST DAY. WE WISH HE COULD CONTINUE GOING HERE FOREVER. EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM ARE UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS BUT A REFLECTION OF ONE UNIT FOR ONE PURPOSE! TO CARE, NUTURE, SUPPORT AND EDUCATE YOUR CHILD AS YOU DO! THEY ARE NOW OUR ADOPTED FAMILY! I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! THEY ARE WONDERFUL. THE RECENT NEGATIVE REVIEW THAT GOT 5 THUMBS UP SHOULD BE REMOVED BC IT HAS ZERO TO DO WITH FACTUAL DAY TO DAY INTERACTIONS. THIS PERSON HAD A ASSUMPTION ON THEIR FEELINGS AS WE ALL DO TO THIS DAY EVEN WITH TEXTS. I HATE TO SEE THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW AS OUR CHILD HAS LEFT WITH AN ADOPTED FAMILY! THEY CREATE A CULTURE. We waited over a month before reviewing this facility as our child transferred from another accredited school. Let me rewind....THANK YOU TO THR CURRENT BEAUTIFUL HUMANS AT THIS FACILITY! They are no racist, bias, discriminatory as listed in previous comments. In fact, this facility models our child's diverse family. They are welcoming, loving, respectful and dedicated from the time they open their doors to our baby. Our son has always love education at home and he is just flourishing here. He comes home regurgitating all the respectful manners, songs, lessons and more that are taught, with nuture and patience here. Children are sponges and they repeat EVERYTHING they hear. At the previous facility he was repeating, yelling from teachers and STOP, etc. Here it seems these educators are not only knowledgeable but have rational thinking in knowing who is in front of them. They are not just chosen to fill a spot and baby sit like some other daycare, they have been provided a platform to be part of our child's growth. An impact. That is EXACTLY what Kids R Kids is...an impact and presence and reason why our child has flourished! We could not be happier. We are stunned we did not know of them sooner. We know of two other families who said they adored them and their children were advanced in school after leaving. HATS OFF TO KIDS R KIDS OF HOUSTON METRO. PHENOMENAL ALL AROUND!TO ADD:Clean facility.Constants and accurate updates.Constant information.Provides Calendar updates.Keeps their personal feeling on the pandemic away and just wears masks for the safety of EVERYONE!Does not seem to pressure children with their structure but encourage.Just overall perfection!BLESS YOU ALL! “Updated in 2024: my child, now 6 years old, still have fond memories of this school and loved the first friends that she made here. Thanks for building a safe, kind and supportive school!Original review in 2022Nadia and her staff are professional, responsive and exceptional Montessori educators. They know every kid by name (even if not from their class) and teaches core values like kindness and patience. The curriculum is prepared a month in advance, every part of the day is well thought out with alphabet, counting, stem and art activities; the child comes home end of the week with all the class work they did. During the summer, they have splash days where they inflate in a big water slide. Children also gets playground time on site (if not too hot). They have a strict no fever policy (which is reassuring), for example Due to the pandemic, they’re also Very honest in sharing if any students are exposed to the virus, if tested positive, they require the child to quarantine for 10 days before coming back to class.Recommendations:- Although earth day and recycling were taught, it’s not really practiced. The classroom uses a lot of plastic, for example each kid gets a zip lock bag for class work. (Maybe ask parents to bring a binder or folder? I typically bring back the zip lock bags). I was told that they switch a pair of gloves after applying sunscreen/bug spray on each child, which is great for hygiene, not sure if there’s a more environmental way. Ask the older kids to put it on themselves?- Hygiene: each child were asked to wash their hands when entering the classroom but not monitored throughout the day if the child washed their hands after using the bathroom. This may be because of the Montessori teaching but some children still needs guidance.”
