Throat store isn’t really clean. Clutter and unorganized sometimes. Goodwill is better organized than these stores most times. Can never find any good items at this thrift store. They do have a special on Thursdays where you pay a certain amount for a bulk bag of items.

I started coming here a little while ago after the rebrand and while I've found some great pieces and rare books that I've had in my wishlist, the service I received this past Sunday was strange. I was under the impression they closed at 6 (the hours were posted on the door) I overlooked it, MY mistake. However, the cashier coming into the dressing room at 4:45 and TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS while I was still in there (thankfully the individual rooms are lit) and saying "Fitting room is closed" was kind of rude. I asked her for my own knowledge when they closed and she said at 5 and I asked her if I could finish trying on my selections (I had like 5 sweaters) since I had about 10 min left. She told me to hurry up. There wasn't any sign to my knowledge that the fitting room closed earlier so I thought I had a little time. I ended up not trying on my clothes and just heading to register. It was dark in the fitting room and I didn't feel welcome. I've worked in retail and couldn't wait until closing time as well but I just felt like I wasn't treated right. Also, the prices have increased tremendously on freely donated items. For costume jewelry from the early 2000's to be priced at $10 and up is absolutely INSANE. I know for next time (maybe) to come and try clothes on earlier so I'm not left in the dark. Literally!

Always enjoy your printed leaflets. Have an antique for your purpose-filled missions & errors of omission. Here's pictures for pickup. At a disadvantage these days for delivering but will purchase fuel in addition to the donation to Richmond. Signs @ Fordham Eagle Springs in Atascosita, Texas.

There are many photos online so I didn't take any. It's a clean, neat store. A lot of thrift shops are overstocked so it's hard to see what they have but this one had a good amount of space. It was easy to look through their racks and shelves. There's always something different and most things are in good shape. I enjoy popping in to see what new items they have. They have good prices, especially if you look for the half price color or check their website to go on a day when they offer discounts.

What Happened? Sadly they closed The Pennywise on Mason Road in Katy that was awesome and all areas were super clean. Have gone out to the one on highway 90; Here are the great things about it: 1. Supports a great cause. 2. Great clothing/ Furniture selection. 3. Prices are good. Now the horrible things and this is why I have 1 Review1. Most of the employees need a class on how to treat customers. Try smiling2. Do not even get me started on the bathrooms, You better a strong stomach and really have to go. Restrooms are beyond filthy!!! Human fetus on floor and toilets/ very dirty floors!

I currently volunteer at penny wise I have to say I've gotten some few fines from here probably the cheapest of the big chains, like Goodwill and Red Cross The people are always nice and you are guaranteed to find some clothes that will work for you and some furniture that is either livable now or an opportunity for a fix and flip for very cheap. The rotation is quick. A lot of people donate definitely a place you want to go to for those purchases mostly women know it's mostly for women. You won't find a lotta good guy clothes there, nor children.

This used to be my absolute favorite, sadly just this week they totally revamped their pricing. Everything went up by 300-400%. $2 for a childrens paperback book. $6 for a used pan. $1 for a single glass. Honestly I won't bother going anymore for these prices on DONATED goods. I understand rising prices are a reality, but this is ridiculous and short sighted.

As I read through the reviews, I noticed that there were several comments about poor customer service. I felt I needed to chime in to clarify something I know about the Pennywise store that will help customers understand something about SOME of the STAFF. Some of the "staff" are not paid staff, but instead people working off community service hours. It is likely that many of the people that are being complained about are just every day people who have community service hours to work off and have been assigned to PennyWise to work their time. I have never had a bad experience with the STAFF at PennyWise, however I have had a few moments of rudeness from the community service "Volunteers" from time to time.I still love this store and the purpose behind it. If you do not know, the proceeds from the sales help to fund the Fort Bend Women's Center, which is a place for battered and abused women and their children to land in an emergency situation.I highly recommend this store. I donate here and shop here regularly. They also have great sales and have a program where you can purchase a purple bag and on a specific day everything you can fit in the bag is 50% off.

I’m a frequent shopper at there location , and they have great deals but the customer service at front was horrible. The cashier I got , didn’t get her name, (white/blonde white hair, mid 20-30) was so unprofessional and it felt like she was no in the mood. And just didn’t want to be there She rang up my items and just started at me when she was done. I had to ask how much my item were. And when I asked her a question she was like “hmm K .” ????? And when I gave her my payment usually they will bag the items (if it’s a lot a clothes) she didn’t even bag my items and I had quite a bit of clothes. I had to ask for a bag. And her response was “HMMM K “ !?!?!?!?!?!! Like ma’am I know you probably don’t want to be there or want to work there but please don’t act like that in front of customers because we sense your negative attitude and that’s not the service we want.Other than that it’s a great place to shop for good deal on clothing. Rest of the cashiers like the older lady she was very nice and her customer service was ?
