This is my LBS and I have always been treated with respect. The entire staff is always willing to go the extra yard to take care of me, whether it’s an appointment or a last second problem. Yoshi the Bike Whisperer, Jay, Stephen, Dario, and Richard consistently go the extra yard to satisfy their customers. Their expertise and guidance has served me well as I continue to improve my cycling abilities. I am also proud to spend my money at a shop that supports our local communities and cycling events. I highly recommend visiting the shop for your cycling needs.

I have known Stephen and "Crewe" for at least 10 years. I have purchased two bikes from Handlebar. I have always received friendly, courteous and prompt service and useful advice. The shop rides are well organized with at least three different pace groups of fun and friendly cyclists.

I have been coming to this local bike shop for over 10 years now, even started in their previous location. I have bought several bikes from them for myself & family. If they don't have it in stock, they will order it for you.
The service is personalized and they are very knowledgeable, from the basics to advanced cycling needs and even custom bikes.
This team here is very personable and makes you feel like home when you walk in. One of the perks of a local bike shop you will never get in a larger store.
Saturday group rides form the shop are a plus.

Handlebar Cyclery has been my go-to bike shop for all service on my mountain bike for the past several years. I recently had my mountain bike serviced and had them do a couple of upgrades that have made my riding experience so much better.
Steven and Jay and the team are fantastic technicians and great encouragers to this 68-year old who only started riding a few years ago. In addition, I purchased a gravel grinder from Handlebar that has opened even more fun options for me. I can always count on them to keep both my bikes in top condition.
I can’t say enough good things about the team at Handlebar. They have helped me enjoy and get the most out of my biking experiences.

Handlebar Cyclery is the only bike shop and bike mechanics I'll trust with my high end bikes for maintenance and repairs for the last 10 years. They give the bike a thorough check and an upfront quote for any and all work, and it's my decision to approve or pass on the work. Always great communication from the store. I've known Yoshi, Jay and Richard to be not only excellent bike mechanics but all around good and honest people. Yoshi taught me everything I needed to know about riding a bike when I started cycling. I recommend their shop to all my athletes and friends. Not only do they do great work but the shop is well stocked with everything you might possibly need, so we can support a locally owned and operated business instead of buying online. Keep up the great work!

I've been a loyal customer of Handlebar Cyclery for years. I even travel from Central Texas to have my bikes serviced there. It’s the only place I trust with my bikes. I've purchased all of my bikes from them. The team is incredibly accommodating, making sure they have availability whenever I'm in town. But what sets them apart is their honesty; they've never tried to overcharge me and have even advised me when I didn't need a service or part, saving me money.
The atmosphere at Handlebar Cyclery is nice. It’s welcoming. Very casual and not intimidating at all, especially for new cyclists. They're willing to help and ensure you feel comfortable and confident with your bike.
Handlebar Cyclery is not just a bike shop—it's a community. Go ride with them too! I can't recommend them highly enough!

The only bike shop in Katy I trust with my bikes. I do a fair amount of my own wrenching but there are a few jobs over my head and they’re always happy to do it for me, and even correct the things I screwed up ?. Yoshi is a wheel whisperer and always gets them perfectly trued, and Richard is pretty ok at bar wrapping ?. You won’t be disappointed!

The crew at Handlebar Cyclery have always treated me with professionalism and good humor. Just today they sorted me out on the proper technique for tubeless roadside repair and helped me select new tires and sealant. My current road bike, gravel bike, wife's bike, both kids' bikes and indoor trainer are from Handlebar Cyclery. Great shop, I recommend you stopping by...now if they would just re-install that beer keg :)

My work order no. is #42304, so the owner knows who worked with my order and I don't want to call out any names here. I consider Handlebar Cyclery as an auto shop but for bikes. When you take your vehicle to the auto shop for one minor issue, it's procedure they suggest various other services that needs to be considered. If I choose not to do all the extra services they suggested and stick to the minor fixes, never have anyone ever told me and I quote, "You know what, I'll return your vehicle you can take it somewhere else". And that's exactly what I am going to do, find a different place to service my bikes next time. He loosened couple of parts and didn't even bother to screw it back on.

Waste of money :/ we came here for a service to fix our brakes on one bike and the tire on another. Not even 5 rides after the left brake is out already on the one bike and my bike is flat again in the same tire. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff but wouldn’t budge on price for a kids bike that everyone else sells for $50 less, or throw in a water bottle, bell, etc. Did not receive any discount for the helmet bought with the bike.
Makes it difficult to support local businesses..

We have bought 3 bikes from them over the last 2-3 years (mine, my wife's and my son's). Their customer service is exceptional! Dario and Yoshi especially are amazing! They were patient with us and gave great advice. Really appreciate the team there and their passion for cycling. Definitely recommend these guys!
