Here is my experience: I have had my horse at lots of barns through my moves in my adult life and have never experienced this level unprofessionalism and unwillingness to adjust to my horses needs. My 22 year old horse was having weight issues and Carroll Stables was unwilling to change things up to try to help. They even put him on a feed I specifically asked them not to without consulting with me first and charged me for it! When brought to their attention that I asked they didn’t do this, we were immediately kicked out and had less than a month to find somewhere new. I found a new place for him to go within 36hours as I did not want him living with someone who no longer wanted him there and am so happy I did! They became extremely unprofessional, attacking me over text messages instead of discussing issues with me in person when I went to get my things. My texts in response were nothing but thankful and apologetic, but the attacks kept coming! Their true colors came out. I was happy here for almost 2 years, but when I wanted to do things a little different than Carroll Stables wanted to, we were immediately kicked out! There’s lots more to the story, but I’m limited on characters. I do not recommend that you board here and am so so so thankful my horse is out of there and somewhere safe. If you decide to board your horse here, please go check on them all the time because they will use your lack of attendance against you! They will refuse to listen to your concerns unless you are there all the time. If I were you, I would do myself a favor and look elsewhere, especially if your horse has special needs of any sort!

If you are looking for a boarding stable for your horses, this is the one! It has been an excellent experience. Jody is very friendly and patient with all my concerns and questions. She is also super helpful since I’m a beginner owner. The facility is always clean and well maintained. You can definitely tell the horses are living their best lives!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Ms Jody is amazing. She really loves what she does! I don’t know who was happier...Me or my horse! If you’re looking for a great place to board your horse...This is it! Do yourself and your horse a huge favor and board here!

Wonderful facility! Arena, round pen, obstacle course, miles of riding and great people as well. If you are looking for a place to keep your horse you cannot do any better. The horses are well kept and very happy. The owner Jody takes exceptional care of my babies. She is proactive if she sees anything that could turn into an issue, she puts her eyes and hands on my 2 horses everyday. She has also been a wealth of information from training, care, riding you name it. I personally live 40 minutes away but couldn’t find a better fit for my boys, the facilities and care is worth the drive.

My horse has been at Carroll Stables for 12 years. She has had excellent care then entire time. I have never had one problem or complaint. Jody and her family provide exemplary care. Highly recommend.
