Dropped my truck off after getting hit from behind and in front (i was launched into another vehicle). At no point did Caliber contact me to give me updates. I kept having to call to get my own updates. I had multiple conversations with Caliber about which insurance was to be used and all parties agreed (Caliber, my insurance, the other guy's insurance) that it was his insurance paying the bill. After 3 weeks in the shop, I was told to come pick up my vehicle and to pay the $500 deductible. I told them they were mistaken and it was the other insurance paying and the lady had no idea what I was talking about and was very condescending that I should collect the money later from his insurance. After speaking with a manager, he said that it can be done no problem, so a few hours later, my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I got to the shop, my vehicle did not have the front repaired. Only the back. When I asked the lady about it, she was again condescending and said that the insurance didn't send in that request for repairs and that is why it wasn't done. I remember clearly pointing to the front end when dropping off the pickup, so why didn't they call me or the insurance when there was a discrepancy between the request for repairs and the insurance invoice? One simple phone call to the insurance cleared it up, but they couldn't be bothered. The right hand not talking to the left is frustrating. The condescending attitude, however, is unacceptable.Update: changed from 1 star to 3 stars…Service improved although a bit late. Work that was done looked very good. I think if they can keep notes from every conversation with the customer from the very beginning, it will go a long way, especially when multiple people are interacting.
