This is a good Best Buy. Bought a computer there from a very knowledgeable, nice employee. Unlike the Fry Road location, which is horribly overstaffed with a bunch of do-nothing stand arouders who never once acknowledged us, all blabbering with each other, nobody said one word to us even after i got irate and left. The employees could not be any less interested in anything but each other. This place has completely gone down the tubes.
Left there in anger, went to other location, completely different atmosphere . Don't waste your time at the fry rd. Location.Go to the Grand Parkway one, much ,much better.

Went inside to purchase a laptop. I walked in, asked a few questions and walked out with a laptop. Easy transaction.

Best Buy overall has negatively changed since COVID. There are only 3-4 employees in the store, they can't direct you to where items are located and stock is limited. The customer service has diminished ALOT as well. I recently discovered when new credit card information is updated on their website it's not being updated in the Geek Squad system. It's been 11 weeks since I updated it and just found out it's still not updated!
This is unacceptable!! Either replace the system or hire new IT employees who can fix it! Why do customers have to verbally update our personal information with Geek Squad over the phone? Information from their website should transfer to the system! Two of the managers I've spoken to weren't even aware of the issue!
Best Buy is losing business AND employees due to the negative changes we've seen since COVID. It's been 4 years! Employees aren't being replaced when they leave or are laid off.
Management hasn't done anything to make improvements to these issues in my opinion!

Terrible service!!!! I been here for about an hour, just want to purchase a drone. Obviously I can't get it because is locked!!! There is like 5 workers just walking around, I asked all of them for help. They keep saying, yes give me a minute I'll send someone. If they don't want to sell they can just say! Ugh, i really hope they change management and staff. This is ridiculous! Worse experience EVER!!!!!

I went there for paper, and they had some! Yippee. ? I do wish they still carried more office items though, like red felt-tip pens, organizing trays, and so on - as well as camcorders and cameras. Their customer service is always fantastic though, and their men and women are knowledgeable.

The website was not up to date. I purchased an item with hopes to pick it up same day. When I made it to the store, the item was not in stock.

There are few staff serving and not all of them are qualified to know about the products they sell, one has to ask to be served by someone who does know and in fact that person does offer solutions to what one needs

We ordered a standing freezer a month ago, the day before it was to be delivered we get a call saying it won't be available until the 12th... ( 2 weeks later ). We were told there were too many bought the same day we bought it and that they didn't know until later. When pressed about when the stock gets updated the rep said every 24 hours. So I asked , why are we being notified a month later... THE DAY BEFORE delivery... that it won't be delivered? Nothing... some fantastic work there best buy. Dropped the ball and then have someone unqualified to deal with the simple questions to deal with the aftermath. No regard to the time frame, the customers, or even their own staff. The very least they could have done was notify us "24 hours" after purchasing that the inventory online/in store was misrepresented and or compensation for the insanely last minute notification as well as unreasonably late delivery promises after the fact.

Bought a camera from Best Buy in mid-May for over $1000, and recently discovered that the lens doesn’t fully retract to become flat. I only noticed this after watching some YouTube videos about the camera and seeing that other lenses do retract fully. Initially, I thought my lens was functioning correctly since the optics and image quality seemed fine.
I went to Best Buy to explain the situation and seek help for either a repair or replacement. I wasn’t looking for a return since I’m beyond the 15-day window and I really love my camera. But instead of assisting me, they washed their hands of the issue and told me to contact the manufacturer. They didn’t even offer to help mediate the situation.
Seriously, Best Buy? You sell a product worth over $1000 and can’t provide basic customer service or problem resolution? If you’re considering buying cameras or lenses, go somewhere with better support and warranty. Best Buy might call themselves an authorized dealer, but they clearly lack the capability to resolve issues with items they sell at full price.
