This was my first time coming into this ace hardware store and walked in and literally thought I walked in a different store they have beautifully decorated and had Halloween and Christmas decor. Was greeted right away and only came in a for a copy of keys. They were so helpful and had such a great smell when you walk in. They have a lot of Texas items and went and saw there garden center and will be back! I was really impressed!

I wanted to surprise my son with a new grill and I live 3 hours away! The staff went above and beyond to help me pick the right thing out. They delivered it and so he was totally surprised. They forever have my family's business. Thank you so much!

I went in today specifically for Benjamin Moore off white paint samples cards. I needed to match some existing paint. We are remodeling, had shelving redone in our primary closet. I needed to match the existing color today, come back tomorrow to buy the paint as the painters will arrive Monday. I picked White Dove and Mayonnaise. This location was out of the White Dove sample card. The last one was behind a plastic holder. I was told I need to leave one here for customers. Except I’m a customer and I’m here now. I was told that last one was a placeholder for them to know where this paint card goes. (No one thought I can take a picture or write down what paint sample card goes in this slot.) I was told my only option was to buy a $6 paint sample. I asked about the closest Ace location near this one. My issue was with customer service and problem solving. When I mentioned I was coming back tomorrow to buy paint why would you want me to go to another store to provide me with the customer service this store could have provided. Why didn’t someone say m’am it’s our fault for not maintaining our inventory, it’s our fault for not ordering more paint sample cards so we can give you a paint sample of White Dove for free knowing you’ll be back tomorrow to buy a gallon of paint. I did tell the man first helping me that I would have to buy two paint samples and he stood there before walking away so a woman came over to help me. I’m not sure where the disconnect was and why problem solving this issue became a bad customer service experience but hopefully the store and it’s employees can use this as a learning experience. This wasn’t an issue that couldn’t be solved without some creativity and most importantly a willingness to solve a problem for a positive outcome. Tomorrow I will go elsewhere to buy paint and unless I’m in a bind have no intention of going back to this Ace Hardware.

I bought a 36V Stihl weed eater here today and when I tried it out I immediately realized it did not have enough power to cut what I needed to cut. I then took the weed eater back to the store and asked if I could exchange it and pay for a larger unit but the store owner said they would not take it back because it had been used which is correct, that how I found out it wasn’t going to work. They certainly didn’t have to take it back but a little customer service would have gone a long way. I come in this store almost every weekend for something but will not go back now. Lowe’s is just as close to my house and has better prices and customer service.

Visited Ace Hardware in Pecan Grove for the last time. All of the women working in the front check out are extremely rude and unfriendly... after leaving this location, today. I went out of my way to shop at another Ace and bought something there. This other location was a breath of fresh air.

What a great store full of great people. We needed a new Weed Whacker and decided to go local (instead of Walmart) - it was a great decision. We got a great deal on a new Stihl - 3 year warranty (at no extra cost) and incredible customer service.
As an added bonus...this store is awesome. They got so many items for the backyard enthusiast along with almost every tool you'll ever need. Free popcorn was fun as well.
