My doctor called in a prescription numerous times and the pharmacy just ignored it and wouldn't fill it. I said "well I guess I'll just send it to CVS then", they said "fine" and hung up. They are regularly out of items, which are very basic grocery items - broccoli, arugula, fresh thyme, chicken breast cutlets - making it necessary to go to a second grocery store if you had a particular recipe in mind.

We go here every week (sometimes more) especially for the Kosher meats and sushi. The Poke bowls at the Kosher sushi counter are quite good and the staff there is so nice. I highly recommend the Salmon and Krab Poke and I believe it exceeds the quality of even the designated Poke places in DFW. As far as groceries are concerned, they have a relatively broad selection and some great deals. Produce is additionally above average as well. When it comes to various Tom Thumbs, this one is worth even a 20-30 minute drive if you can.

Mary in the customer service was very unprofessional. I went in to renew my vehicle registration and she refused to accept the new white form with a barcode that I was mailed. She insisted they do not accept this, once the other lady scanned and tried to help, they both saw that it pulled up my information. Mary continued to say, "I'm still not accepting this". I called around to other Tom Thumbs and everyone seemed to know exactly what this form is and is acceptable. So, thank you to another Tom Thumb - I was able to get my registration sticker!

They always have friendly employees who are helpful. It is not very busy as well. Great grocery store and great prices.

Did a quick run inside to buy some Seagram's for a Painting with a Twist event I had later. Store was nice, seemed to be a nice selection, what I had wanted was in stock so I went to check out. I just had the one item, and the nice person in front of me asked me if I wanted to cut since I only had one item. The vibe of the store was so nice up until that moment. I thanked him and gave the cashier, whose name I do not know but she was an older African (not African American, not black) woman with a very thick accent who was working on register 4 (I believe), my purchase. I had my ID out and card out and everything to make it as smooth as possible. However, since I was in hurrying to try to not make the guy wait long for doing me such a nice favor, thinking the first screen on the card reading was just a donation slide I clicked "skip/no/whatever" to move to the next screen which was the insert card screen. I wanted to add my Tom Thumb card number, so I had asked her about it. She then rudely yelled, "What did you DO?!" like I blew up the thing or something. I was just stunned at her tone so I just stood there shocked and I could tell the other customers in line cringed at her attitude. So I asked her if she could just enter my phone number instead and digit by digit she was side eyeing me and speaking so rudely and condescendingly. I had never experienced such a cashier with such a huge stick up their butt acting like such a see you next Tuesday that when my receipt printed I just took it and left. Never had I experienced something like that. Even at other stores where maybe the screen for the credit card machine hadn't worked or I mis-clicked or something where it prompted to enter my phone number, never in my 31 years of life did the cashier act like I caused such an inconvenience. It's usually a "No problem! What's your phone number/card number/etc?" and they enter it and that's that. Be it Tom Thumb, Kroger, or Target. It's never such a big deal. I really hope whatever is going on so awfully in her life causing her to act so impertinently resolves soon because I cannot imagine going through life with such a female-dog-like attitude. Shame since this seems like a nice store. I'll just be sure to avoid this Tom Thumb like the plague, especially if this is how all of the staff acts. I try to be a good customer (put thing on belt, have everything needed to check out ready, being friendly and greeting the cashier, saying thank you, and leaving) so that the transaction is as smooth as possible for the cashier. Sometimes the customer messes up the screen or maybe just wants to use their physical store card or something, but that shouldn't be met with such a forked tongue. Mistakes happen. I hate sound like such a Karen, but geez louise feeling like an inconvenience for simply trying to shop here sucks.

I love this store! This store isn't the closest Tom Thumb to my home, but it is my favorite. The employees are always so helpful and friendly. The selection is always great. They have great sales and even more savings through their app. The bakery and produce section is always well stocked and everything is fresh and delicious. The florist area always has fresh, beautiful flowers. They have a great Kosher market with meat, fish and fresh sushi and a Kosher dry goods and dairy section. Mike, Patel and Juan at the Kosher deli are always friendly and helpful. Ann the cashier always has a smile. They also employ Special needs individuals and that just fills my heart up!

Stopped in for a few things. Wanted to pick up a Covid test. Stopped by the pharmacy, asked the young man if he had any. He said yes, but they were getting ready to close. I asked him if I could take it to the cashiers, he said yes. However the pharmacist said no, I'd have find them over there ( pointing somewhere out in the store). I said can I have the one he was about to give me, she said no, you find them out there. I don't use the atom Thumb pharmacy for my prescription due to their horrible customer service!

My seven year old daughter was thumping balloons in the floral department this New Years morning. Her dad was just a few steps away so it's not like she was unsupervised. The lady working in the floral department said "hey don't touch that!" We let our child touch things in the store - that's a big part of how kids engage the world. The balloons wouldn't have broken and even if they had - we can afford to buy/replace them. Do better and treat kids with more respect.

The bakery here is fabulous and doesn't get the credit it deserves. I've been buying the cookies and bread recently. They are delicious! And the bread is so fresh. Much better than the shelf brands. Recently we ordered a 10 inch birthday cake. Everybody at the party said it was one of the best cakes they've ever tasted. I can't wait to try their bagels because they are enormous and look delicious!

I shopped here twice this month due to the excellent Reward Card specials and was disappointed in Wal Mart being so crowded and hardly any cashiers at Wal Mart. The two things that stand out are this store has a huge selection and has superior air conditioning compared to other grocery stores. I am heavy 230lbs The meat selection is gigantic. The store brand items were really yummy. The cashiers are friendly. The aisles are clean. The carts are clean. The baggers help the customers. The store has people help you find things. They Care! I appreciate you, Tom Thumb Staff at this location! This location was built to replace the location at Campbell Road and Hillcrest Ave. This store is kept up nice. This store is managed well too. I felt happy with all my purchases.

A friend of my family, went to Starbucks in this location to charge their phones, since they been without electricity for the past 12hrs due to the situation of the weather. They asked for two coffees and the employee responded that they did not have any coffee at all. But when two policemen walked in she said they did have coffee and proceeded to cash them out. After that she kicked out my family's friend for not consuming. This is disrespectful, they felt ashamed and just left without saying nothing and worried of how they could charge their phones and be able to communicate with their family or see the news. The lack of humanity is unbelievable and also the racism. So upset with this situation.

Update COVID Review 12/2/2020: Not sure if any Tom Thumb mgmt read these, but here goes. If you are going to leave the arrows on the aisles to promote one way traffic, please ask your customers and employees to follow them. I go into your store at least 2x a week. Customers not following annoys me. I am not the big rule follower, but I have gotten used to going up and down and following the arrows. Seems like some people are intentionally going backwards. And then you have employees going down aisles against the arrows. Help me out here. Just trying to hang on till the vaccine comes out. Or just pull the arrows...

The pharmacist Janet was extremely nice and professional. I went there to get the flu shot vaccine and it was a great experience, fast and very friendly place. After I took the flu shot I took a look at the store, it's a very large store with an excellent selection, including a Kosher market. The bakery is quite good and their ready-made meal section is convenient and quick. I highly recommend this pharmacy, the customer service is great. I will definitely be switching my future prescriptions to this pharmacy going forward.
