During my first visit to Toyota Richardson for a 20K Service, my Service Manager, Oliver V., took great care of my car. They were able to complete everything within an hour. Additionally, they provided a shuttle service to take me home and back (which was 6 miles away).Overall, it was an excellent experience!

I went for services for my 2023 Toyota sienna that I just got two months ago from them, my trunk door don’t open automatically, so Mr. Jesse the attendant checking me in started looking at the trunk ,not even paying attention to what I’m saying ..so rude, then kept asking me multiple times if I have been in an accident, and I answered him with a no, so he didn’t believe me and went to check if the car had a clean title or not, and it had , still under the warranty that I got from them, so I after I confronted him with not believing me that I have not been in an accident he disrespected me and throw my car keys at me in front of everyone there, so rude and disrespectful, manager showed up after and still didn’t solve my issue, so now I’m riding with a brand new sienna under warranty and my trunk lid don’t open automatically, way to go Toyota of Richardson, and way to go Jesse

Worst Toyota service department I've ever been to. Last week, I scheduled service using their website. Provided all information during this reservation. Upon arriving there, I've waited 20+ minutes to be checked in. My service "advisor" Lee had no idea what he's doing there. Needed my information all over again. I told him that I already created an appointment online, with my information and car's details etc. Just pull it from there? He did not care. Provided my info again, watching him writing down my address, name and mileage wrong at the same time. Ok I gave up at this point I don't care either. That's the vibe here. While my car was being serviced, tire guy found me at the waiting area and tried to sell me tires for 3X of costco/discount tire prices, claiming these tires are 'original equipment'. I've never had this in other Toyota services, and believe me I've been 7 or 8 so far, in different cities. After service, another 10+ minute wait to make a payment. This part was also another disorganized process from Toyota of Richardson. Disappointing. This place is an insult to the Toyota brand. Please make yourself a favor and go elsewhere for service.

I had a horrible experience today with Toyota of Richardson service department. I’m not one to ever leave reviews. I get calls all the time telling me it’s time to bring my car in for maintenance but the customer service then lacks. I got there today at 9 am the time for my appointment and my advisor let me know it would be an hour and a half at the latest after they talked me in to some repairs I didn’t plan on getting that I paid for out of pocket and I hadn’t even reached 25,000 miles. Around 11:00 I texted to see if I could get an update and no answer was given to me. Then I called around 11:15 and a customer service person answered the phone then put me on hold for 5 minutes then to let me know my advisor went to lunch and couldn’t give me an update. They then put me on hold for another 10 minutes I then finally talked to the service manager who then apologized and said sorry we got behind the paperwork is here on my desk I’ll bring it right out. He then came out and handed it to me didn’t look me in the eye and just said sorry about the wait and walked right away and by this point it was 11:45. He offered me no compensation for the under delivery of the service or the lack of communication after it took longer than expected. Then the cashier checking me out checked me out at the speed of a snail. So by the time I got out to valet it was after 12 and I ended up being an hour late to work.I would greatly appreciate if someone could review what happened today and offer some type of compensation for having to wait twice as long as I was told and the lack of good customer service and communication. And then I’d love if someone could reach out and offer some type of compensation and I’ll take down the negative review.

I don't usually write reviews. But recently I'm like if I share my experience maybe that'll help out another person.Okay so long story short, called them to get a quote for a duplicate key reprogramming and an associated issue. They quoted me $690. Guess what? Another Lexus dealership did the same job for $265.

The service quality here has taken a nosedive! We've been loyal Toyota customers for over a decade, regularly coming in for oil changes. However, when my 2022 Sienna visited solely for an oil change, it suddenly became undriveable, and they claimed it needed a $1000 fix. Furthermore, they seem to be deflecting responsibility, disregarding the fact that our car was in perfect condition upon arrival. There's a discrepancy here that raises concerns and hints at a possible common scam. Something's not adding up here! It feels like they're taking advantage of us, forcing us to cough up whatever they demand to get our car back on the road.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant about coming here, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. I didn't have an appointment, and I wanted an estimate for the reflective plastic piece of my right side mirror. Although it wasn't in stock for a new car, Gerard was able to provide me with valuable information and next steps. He was patient, knowledgeable, and did the extra research to help even without an immediate sale. Another advisor had recommended a complete replacement of the entire mirror, which seemed a bit overkill since all electronic parts functioned fine. It might be hit and miss with the advisors, but I wanted to share my experience.

The only reason it is not one star, is because my car did leave in working order every time.Let me start by saying I am leasing my car, I did not purchase it from Toyota. I have had the car since January 2021. It will be 3 years this next month. I have not had one service at this location cost less than $500. My car was in selling condition with no issues when I received it, yet somehow all these fluids needed to be flushed already (I have driven less than 12k miles per year). My tires “needed to be replaced” every time I brought it in, to the point where the last time I was informed there was miraculously a nail in my tire! Yet no indication that my tire pressure was low?Reminder, I got this car in 2021 with brand new tires.4 brand new tires later and a full service I didn’t need yet and Toyota of Richardson was sitting pretty! I will not be coming back here as I just came to south Dallas Toyota, and was informed that many of the maintenance performed by Richardson branch was in fact NOT NECESSARY YET. I was quite literally milked for my money.Unless you’d like to refund me for my services that I didn’t need, or include a free one. GOOD RIDDANCE.UPDATE: SOUTH TOYOTA DID MY MAINTENANCE FOR $45. $45. Yes, you heard that right. Not $500.

Probably not going to get my Camry serviced here anymore. 4th or 5th time coming here for oil change I bought my car from a separate dealer (I drive for work so more miles + maintenance) and they always seem to be unorganized.Brandon, Lee and this time Danny all are good service attendances and will take care of your vehicle. The service outside that is very questionable. Setting appointments have been pointless as I’ve arrived early or on time and still wait 15-30 minutes to be acknowledged. Today a lady tried to lie and almost got served ahead of me.No one’s keeping track of arrivals and who is and isn’t working. They’re an okay service dealer if you have time to kill and aren’t worried about punctuality.

I wish my experience was better. I don’t want to blame anyone but I think sharing my experience may help.I recently brought my Rav4 there because it still wouldn’t start after I changed AutoZone battery and starter elsewhere. They estimated the cause was alternator yet it took them very long to diagnose since they started working on my brake pads first- which is not my chief concern.A few days after my Rav4 wouldn’t start again and this time they were confident that my new battery was the reason, so I was given option of changing 7-yr warranty battery from them. All of these alternator-brakepads- battery cost me about $1,900 payment plan, with some $300ish discount the advisor tried to give already, and a few trips to the dealer.I brought my new battery back to AutoZone to return yet it was fine when tested. The AutoZone staff said could’ve been the battery terminal which is around $10 to change. I honestly don’t know who is right, but hopefully I won’t have any problem starting my car anymore. If a Toyota dealer can’t find a correct problem and charge too much labor for “a suppose-to-be-good-service”, maybe it’s better just go find a reliable mechanic elsewhere.I appreciate the kind shuttle driver David and I hope the 7yr warranty battery worth it.
