Ted's auto is really reliable and the people there are really nice. They get the stuff done well and when I bought a car, they were really straightforward and the car still hasn't had any problems despite being driven for three years already.

Recently purchased a Subaru from Ted's and the experience was great. We test drove the vehicle and decided to purchase. The next day Ted discovered that there was an issue with the transmission. Instead of selling us the vehicle without us knowing, he told us the news and gave us options including the chance to back-out and get a refund on our deposit. A lot of dealerships are sketchy and hard to trust but the fact that he didn't sell us a car knowing there was an issue meant A LOT to our young family. At the end of the day we worked it out to fix the transmission and we decided to purchase it. We felt like the price was very fair and we love our new car! Would highly recommend Ted's!

STAY AWAY! Ted knew I was a student and wanted a reliable car.I bought a Subaru Forester 2010 in April of 2020 and within the week the check engine light turned on. It hasn't even been a year and I needed to change both head-gaskets, the timing belt and the transmission for a total cot of $3,500!!

Although Ted has very nice running cars his customer service is terrible. After waiting 6months for service I never received i asked for the $200 parts fee back Ted's wife was extremely rude to me.When I bought the car I was happily asked to come inside to spend my money, now that I'm asking for a refund I'm told to wait outside in the 90° heat .

This was a first time to buy a car from a place that wasn't an auto dealership and we were a bit nervous, but Ted treated us more than fairly. He was quick to respond to email and always answered his phone. There was a small hiccup in the product but he went above and beyond what we expected to fix it. We left as satisfied customers and loved the great customer service.

I brought a Honda Accord from these guys in 2005.It was 7 years old. I still own the car. Aside from routine maintenance. I never had any major projects. When buying a used car, you should ALWAYS have it inspected by a license mechanic that isn't affiliated with the selling party.

I'm totally disappointed. Bought a SUV in a week it died on me and surprisingly the replaced to alternator, but then a couple weeks the engine light came on and now it's going to be 400 in parts to hopefully get it somewhat decent. I've got 4 kids that I needed a dependable car and I would not go to Ted's. Yeah the car looks nice but looks can be dissevining.

Good honest people. I bought 3 vehicles from them and their prices are fair and i only wish they were closer to central Texas. No gimmicks just straight up owners.

There will always be negative comments even from a great dealership and this is NOT one of them. I recently just purchased a low miles 2008 Nissan Titan and still no problems! Lol I was a cash buyer looking to add a pick up to one of my business's and searched high and low. Spent 4 years as a finance manager in auto sales so I had very good connections at the Dallas auctions and friends in sales. Wasn't able to find a good quality truck at a very good deal. Coming from sales and finance I know they're out there but not many of them. When I arrived at Ted's I just finished mowing the lawn and was in my wife's car.. I let them know I was a cash buyer and wanted to see the truck, his wife who handling sales straight up told me no! That if I'm really interested to come tomorrow.. I felt like she definitely profiled me. Which is why I only gave 4 stars but wasn't too big of a deal. I looked like a bum. Anyways long story short money plays, when I pulled out the cash their attitude completely changed and they allowed me to inspect and drive the truck. When we got to the negotiation I told them , hey I did finance for 4 years and certainly want the best deal I can get, but I want you guys to make your money too! They did give me a phenomenal deal and sold me a solid truck for 4000 under its NADA book value. A month later, still no problems and runs like it's brand new. They don't just go to Dallas auctions, this truck came from California so I believe they use ALL the us auctions and land a few good deals. I'll be back in the future for sure. Thanks Ted
