I thought long and hard before deciding to write a review but other people need to be warned. When I first moved in the people in the office were nice not the most efficient but kind. Problems started not too long after I moved in. My kitchen sink linked for 3 months before anyone came to fix it. I mean a big leak anytime you used the sink. I had to put a bucket under the sink and basically couldn’t use my kitchen sink for 3 months. Eventually a different company took over the complex and things only got worse. Over the course of 2 years my A/C broke 4 times. In the dead middle of Texas summer. I once waited 5 days for it to be repaired and had to rent a hotel because the apartment was over 100 degrees. Complex was too cheap to buy a new unit and my light bill was always outrageous for a single person. The pools are dirty and often closed and the gym is a joke. The new staff in the office are horrible, rude, and unprofessional. I mean the man literally has his nose turned up at people who come in to get packages or have questions. My rent went from $1225 when I moved in 2 years prior to $1600 when it was time to renew again. The biggest issue I had with this place is the moving out. I went to the office and asked for a printout of everything I would owe when I moved out. A month after moving out I get a bill for almost $300. The apartment was left in good condition and they tried to charge me for things that I had asked to be repaired and never were. When I inquired about the charges and complained and said I would leave a bad review the manager threatens to increase the charges and says he will go find new things to charge me for! I decided to cut my losses and pay the bill and move on. Well long behold 2 months later I get a notice from collections saying I owe the complex $275! I sent the collections agency the receipt and they said they were trying to verify but couldn’t get anyone from the company or management to respond. Do not move here! It is not worth it. Your rent will also be different each month depending on the amount of fees they add. It literally would vary by $200 some months. $75 for Wi-Fi and cable that is mediocre at best. Once when it iced and snowed no one ever came to salt the steps, so me and my elderly neighbors were stuck in our apartments for 4 days as the steps had about 5 inches of ice on them. I never had a bug problem but I met plenty of people who did. Just because they planted some flowers at the front does not make this place luxury. If the management and professionalism would be fixed at this place it could be a whole different complex. Don’t be fooled by the Whole Foods and low starting rent.

Im disgusted with the lack of professionalism with this company. I was hired to complete the line striping and pressure washing at this complex in April.I have been lied to for over 6 months trying to get paid for these services. Management was happy with the work completed.Getting someone to return a call is impossible. I feel like I was hired and they had no intention of paying me. I’m a small company and waiting on payment for this long has been devastating.I’d highly recommend finding somewhere else to live and I certainly wouldn’t do any work for them.

I’m a resident here at Spring Pointe and I just wanna give a HUGE COMPLIMENT to BRANDI for being the best manager here!!!! When she first started she transformed the leasing office into a nice relaxing set up and has always given her best and she’s the sweetest person I have ever met! If I have any issues or maintenance requests she has them come out immediately to get the situation fixed. She always has time and patience to listen to me as a resident. When I first moved in, I had Gavin as a landlord and he did nothing to help compared to what Brandi had done for me! If you are looking for a nice apartment close to plano, this property is very beautiful and I recommend you to talk to Brandi as she can help you find the right apartment that fits your needs and wants. I give her 5 stars but if i could she would be given a Million because she just the sweetest and nicest person here. Thank you for all that you do BRANDI ❤️❤️❤️???????

The most recent management company, RPM Living, charged a $150 late fee on rent because the housing office was not open to give me my registration number needed to pay online on the day rent was due. They also charged a $53 service fee to pay rent online. The housing office lied to me about a package not being delivered, held onto the package for a month, then gave me the original package when I went back to pick up a different package (which they claimed again was not there.) I was also informed that the office was going to stop accepting packages as a whole. They main office cut power for an entire day causing there to be no internet for the whole complex without notifying residents or being proactive about the situation, which is a problem when I work remotely. When I went to the office to see what the problem was, the office workers were sitting outside complaining that they still had to be here and wanted to go home. They were not helpful in providing any information on how long the power outage was going to take or what was being done to fix it.The office has gotten rid of the direct phone line to talk to a person, you can only call and leave a message or listen to an automated menu. I have left multiple messages and never received a reply. This is only been in the first month of this management change.

I wasn’t going to post a review, because I think it’s just a run-of-the-mill apartment in DFW that got too big for their britches and started hiking their rent prices to the upper stratosphere. However, they decided to add some MORE fees THREE MONTHS after I moved out, and sent it to debt collectors, so I guess it’s a good idea to write a review so others can understand what they’re getting into.My rent was being raised to almost double what it was my first year. Rent rises every year, by a minimum of 20%, guaranteed. They have no maintenance. The pools are always closed, but somehow always disgusting. The AC units are hamster tin cans with hamster running on a wheel inside. There’s a new fee every month for something. Sometimes you get a fee and you’re not told why you got it. They charge you for “tech amenities” for an additional $75 per month, even if you have your own internet/cable service. Of course the provided cable service is terrible and you would get better quality service with smoke signals. You can never reach management if you’re a renter. The people in the office are new almost every month, and have no idea what they’re doing, which leads to “mistakes” on your lease and problems down the line which are only detrimental to you, the renter.

When I first saw my apartment I was excited! This property has Changed hands 3-4 times since I’ve been here, I’ve only been here two years! That speaks for itself! They keep going up on the Rent, office staff keeps changing, I’m very unhappy and planning to relocate once my lease is up!! BEWARE!

Liveable amount of room. If you have a pet, they also have a grooming area, with all the things you need to wash your pet(i think), and a mini dog park (thats very dirty). The apartment I got was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with a garage and backyard. When I moved in there was a huge bug problem. Ants were crawling into my room and biting me, roaches were also getting in. I called for service and they said they fixed it: but i was still getting bugs. The garage was fine, but it will only fit your car if its not that big, i have a tesla and their is still not much space for me to fit my car. The garage also makes a loud noise whenever I close or open it, but thats only for me. The pools are decent. Plenty of shade and places to sit; but leaves fall everywhere into both pools. If its busy then there is hardly any space to swim. It can be difficult to find parking thats close. The internet is not that good, and signing into the interent is a hassle.

I will be writing the owners of this property but wanted to share my awful experience on here. I applied on got approved to move in told the assistant PM when I wanted to move. He stated those dates werent available. When I got the rent quote two weeks later the dates were all of sudden available. 2 weeks had passed I moved on. I thought Id try it again and said the same thing. He gave two choices I picked one and he said they werent available right after he gave the choices. This time I called in which he never calls back and until same mo he emailed two weeks later. I even tried the PM, she defaulted back to the assistant manager that never calls back. In the meantime out of all this he had originally stated you have to use their washer and dryer and their cable. He fowards your number to ambient, anybody that knows them they are vultures that lie and do whatever they need to do for your business. Im guessing he gets kickbacks for lying himself. While they are a small community larger ones frown and kickbacks due to conflict of interest and lawsuits. Needless to say the experience was so poor I chose to move in. My advice to the owners if they read this get a new property manager. How do you scare of potential tenats before they move in?

When initially moving in I’d concerns of several issues most importantly security! I tell you this is one of the most peaceful communities to live and the staff is absolutely great! Kristy and Gavin are amazing! We are a team in our community and I think it’s our responsibility to help with issues as the overwhelming trash being dumped. I’m not happy about having to provide a private internet to connect multiple devices in my home. So maybe I’ll say this is the 2nd greatest concern. I think management should in fact secure a different means of our internet services. Outside of that I LOVE MY HOME I saw this and truly want management to know I’d love this as security measures! This is totally awesome let’s do it!!! Please

I’m going to give the office management 5 stars. My husband ,and I have lived there for a few months. Gavin is absolutely wonderful always pleasant no matter what. Just a great personality and will get you taken care of. Ms. Christy is wonderful I don’t see her a whole bunch, but she is a sweetheart. It’s a very quiet community looks are not everything it’s what’s inside and there is most definitely a lot of heart coming from the front office. Thank you!

I have a carpet beetle infestation, it's amazing how they make me pay more than 300 dollars in "pest control fees" when I have this infestation.
