Nice equipment but they can care less if you clean the machines or not. Even when you go to the front desk to inform them of the lack of sanitation wipes, they just look at you and continue to text on their phones.

KP is a top coach that I highly recommend! I have been training with him for 7 months now with the goal of feeling better in my body every day and I feel more motivated than ever. He perfectly knew how to adapt to my level of beginner, each time achieves the feat of making the sessions fun and makes me want to surpass myself week after week (as it was more than 10 years since I no longer practiced any sport … It was not won ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯) Do not hesitate to contact him, he will put his professionalism and good humour at the service of your goals!I had an awesome experience training with KP. He put together a personalized and comprehensive workout plan for my unique goals AND he helped me stay motivated and accountable for the Seven months that we were working together. Not only is he knowledgeable and has the technical training experience, but also he is down to earth and an overall great guy! I noticed that he never lost sight of my vision and goals, and that he was always accessible for quick question or motivational boost. I highly recommend himThank You, Austin! For helping me to start my personal training sessions in Richardson with KP and following up my missing sessions . Keep hardworking ???

This gym is well-maintained and the staff is excellent, but managing your expectations regarding the customer base is key. While the amenities are top-notch and the locker rooms are clean, don't expect a particularly friendly or community-oriented environment from the other members. If you're focused solely on your workout, this gym will meet your needs, but if you seek a strong sense of community, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great place to workout virtually any way you'd like, play basketball, and racquetball. Sauna and pool are usually clean. Just an overwhelmingly rude staff is the major negative.

Just left, no one had cleaned that locker room for a couple days, the trashes were overflowing, and there was a cockroach.Whoever is the manager should be ashamed.Didn’t even bother complaining to the front desk as they were busy watching a video on their phone with headphones.

I like this gym. I really do. I got into LA Fitness thanks to a friend of mine who goes to another gym. I've grown to like my personal trainer KP and I like Jake, the manager who signed me up for personal training and got my registration for this gym all sorted away. I don't mind the $50/month. While the most I've ever spent a month at a gym, I can understand the pricing for it all. It's no skin off my back. What I don't appreciate is how unhelpful they seem to be with their guests. I'm dealing with financial hardship that has essentially made paying for personal training and the gym a bit of a problem. The gym membership is fine-- I can cope with that. The personal training prices are insane though. The lowest tier is $240, and I chose the $360. And when I signed up, I hesitated, but I wanted to get back into fitness and I considered it worth the price. And, to an extent, I do. However, I failed to understand that cancelling said personal training is impossible unless you have the money to do their buy out. Basically, if you decide to cancel your membership for whatever reason, unless it's medical, you have to pay half of what's remaining of your bill. There's no "pay the next month's ahead of time" or easy cancellation. It is either a buy-out, or you bring a medical note saying proving that paying for personal training is not beneficial. You can imagine how distressing that is for someone. For me, as someone who is working 24/7 to pay my own bills, and is my partner's Uber for work and whatnot, going to the gym has not been a priority and PAYING $360/month is not worth it at this point. Again, I still love this gym and the employees are nice and I do see the value in the price. But I cannot afford that right now. And I'm going on a little over a month of me trying to figure out how to either freeze my account or reduce what Im paying. And so far, I'm not getting the results I need. I spoke to Jake, I've called the front desk and I've been told multiple times "we're looking into it" or "we're reaching out" and I've yet to really get anywhere. The one time I came in person after playing phone tag, I thought I was getting somewhere but this morning, I wake up to see an overdraft notification with a price tag showing that I in fact did not get what I was told would happen. As someone who works sales/retail, i get it. I really do. Im empathetic and I know that there are rules and requirements and all sorts of processes that are above the employees' heads and they cant control everything. But it's really frustrating being told that something will happen or being told you'll be reached out to, when none of that happens. Not even an update that says "we couldn't do it." It makes me not want to continue going to this gym after I fulfill my contractual PT obligation.I'm not saying this to dunk on this gym/LA Fitness as a whole or even scare customers away. I just want to be honest about things so if someone sees my review, they'll understand some things that can happen. You'll notice how it's a 3 star and not a 1 star-- after all, I LIKE this gym. I really do. And I've enjoyed the people I have gotten to know. But compared to other gyms I've been to, this gym has made me feel the least heard and cared about ever.

Had a great and enjoyable time working out here. Meet a nice trainer by the name of Torri who helped me with my workout and membership that was suitable for my needs. Will be looking forward to going every day.

The staff is good, the club is niceBut you should pay 50$ per monththe amount is more than it deserves, 50 dollars a month. In addition to the annual registration cost of $50 per month, I visited some branches. Not all branches are clean all the time. In addition to cockroaches, there is no private employee to clean the pool

Worst LA Fitness I've been to.Gym is not clean, staff are rude. Not a fan of the layout, but that's definitely not the main issue. The gym does have a lot of equipment, so if you don't plan on using changing rooms or anything else that is its redeeming feature.P.SFor the car enthusiasts.Don't park here if you like your car. This did not impact my review bc, LA Fitness can't control this, but it's worth knowing you'll go to a bad gym and come out with dents on your doors.

An Open Letter to Corporate MgmtI've frequented this location for the last 4 years, and the quality of service has gone down significantly over time. They're always out of paper towels (even in the restrooms) and I stopped going in the morning because they could only find female staff (who actively discouraged men from undressing) to clean in the men's restroom. Talk about mismanaging liability for your patrons. Here's the kicker that finally made me write a negative review: Recently, someone hit my car in the parking lot. When I asked if they could check security footage, I was told by the manager, Germaine, I had to have a police report before they could do anything. I wasn't even offered the courtesy to check footage because apparently they don't have the time to check because 'there are so many requests'.When a manager is too lazy to even extend a simple offer to help, it speaks volumes on how the whole gym is being run. It's also a comment on the lack of basic courtesy & care this facility's management holds for its patrons.I hope someone higher up reads this and realizes the negative reviews will continue to come in for this very busy & central location until they fix their personnel problem.
