Racist. I was raised in Okinawa Japan and I was looking for some snacks and goodies that I used to eat as a child. This lady and man followed me around the store the entire time. I will not go back there ! Horrible experience

I visit this Asian market many times before, because it is the only Asian market that nears me with many product varieties. I used to like this place, but not for the visit on last Saturday. I waited at the medicine counter to try to get something. Normally staff would come to service me if they see someone is waiting at the counter. But not this time, I waited for couple minutes, nobody came. It wasn’t even busy hour. So I went to the nearest cashier line to ask if I can get anybody there to help me. The guy (cashier A) heard me, but he didn’t looked me or said anything. After he checked out the customer, he just walked to the counter without saying anything still! Then he asked me what I need with an unpleasant attitude. After I got what I need from him, I went to the other check out line. The cashier B maybe new to this place, he had trouble to check out his current customer. So he asked me if I can switch to the other line, he didn’t want me to wait too long. I completely understand that. So I move my stuff to the next cashier line. I made two trips to drop off the stuff. At the second trip when I was about to put down the last couple things, cashier C put a CLOSE sign up. I asked him if this line is closed. He said yeah with a poker face…I was like: Dude, you cannot tell me when I made the first trip?! He doesn’t even seem to want to tell me it is closed, just simply put up a sign! What a day at good fortune. I guess it’s really a BAD fortune for me to come here on that day.

It's really crowded to watch the Lion Dance outside of this supermarket. They have a Confucius statue and other famous Chinese Ancient Emperors and Intellectuals.

When people who live around me shared their bad experiences about this store, I told them that I didn't ask money back 'cause I only bought a few pears ( when I cut them into pieces and saw rotten part inside). Recently this kind of things happened so often, the bad quality stuff from different buyers. When I saw those pictures, meats like chicken drumsticks, duck meat...... , and fruits like apples, Jackfruit, etc. (people always showed their cut stuff pictures with receipts from this store), the common problem is that, the customers can only find the rotten stuff when they opened the packed meat ( or cut the fruits ) at home.I dropped the store 's star to 2.We don't know how much the store care about these. At least they should care about improving their cashier's service quality. Like : know how to respect their customers ; and no more mistakes to charge extra money from their customers ( if this happened many times to different people and still go on, it really means something not good) .Hopefully I can raise the store star soon. And the name " Good Fortune Supermarket" is for both of this store and customers !

A nice, clean, and organized Chinese grocery store that has a pretty good selection for its relatively compact size.I went to check if they have ramen since I ran out and they have a whole aisle dedicated to it, I was not disappointed ?

Richardson Chinatown is one of the OG china towns in DFW area. I remember back in the day this location used to be the original asian supermarket. They even had a food area inside that served pork chop with rice. That was a long time ago and definitely different ownership. Nowadays, most of the good places are further up north. We do visit this supermarket sometimes when we're near the area. Their stuff is generally pricier than its competitors. I do like their bags though. Huge and sturdy. Makes great bedroom wastebasket trash bags. I will say that they keep their place absolutely freezing in the winter. They don't turn on the heater at all during winter time. Also their checkout area is extremely narrow and exit area can be quite crowded and be a bottleneck.

I bought some yam noodles home. When I opened it, it's overwhelmingly stinky. I can smell it all over my kitchen even after an hour.

So I Asian Supermarket hop all the time. I've shopped Grand Prairie, Arlington, H Mart in Carrollton Haltom City local market even Houston's store which is my favorite but this was a very well organized supermarket. Medium sized store with a decent sake soju section. I loved their tea and snacks assortment and overall nice array of selections. Since this was my 1st time I was impressed with their layout, it didn't feel like just the same boring supermarkets you go to, can't wait to go back for a second run during Chinese New Year to explore more of the neighborhood.

I went today for my second time and the cashier lady was so nice! I came to buy some Buldak ramen since I don’t have any asian stores around my area, this is my go to store! I recommend going here, they have a lot of stuff!
