I’ve been shopping at Aldi for 20 years. When we moved to North Carolina, they had them there. I would tell my family back in Dallas about them. One day, I received a call from my sister to tell me they were building them in Texas. So when we moved back to Texas, lucky me! They built one in my neighborhood. I love me some Aldi!

This place is 5 stars at savings. They have re-done the produce area and it looks a lot better. Like their gluten free hamburger buns and raisin bread. Also their sliced swiss and cheddar cheese, and salad kits. For you orange juice lovers, theirs is some of the best. Generally speaking, their brands are equivalent to the ones we grew up on, just a bunch cheaper. Bring your own bags and a quarter for a cart (you get it back when you return the cart to its proper place). Update. I like their raisin almond honey granola. Their produce quality has improved so I'm buying lots of celery, lettuce, and mushrooms. I noticed they have some produce that is not bagged. I like that, particularly items that I might not use a full bag. Avocados, limes, and peppers. Wish they would have lemons also. No way I can use 6 lemons at a time, end up throwing some in the compost.

Most of this store has good items except the produce. It's very unsettling to know that if produce falls on the floor behind where they are kept no one seems to check it to clean it. Literally in the pic you will see rotten tomatoes ?. Don't by produce here.

Good selection of food items. Tiny, but bug enough. Can get in and out of here quick. Bring your own grocery bag. Staff is usually very friendly.

You know, this is a discount grocery, but I must say their brands are pretty good like the pita chips and hummus are really good. They sell #3 veggies here, they may be ugly, but they are pretty good most of the time. And the Winking Owl wine, not bad at all! The milk and eggs are a bargain. Forget about the meat. Their Sourdough bread is the best damn bread you will find in Dallas. It's almost like being in San Francisco. However, it is continually out of stock. Overall, this is a good place to hit and save. Super friendly staff!
