Great place to check out. I love all the different antique items and books. The owner is so knowledgeable in what sells there! It's different every time I go in, what an eye! Can't beat the selection.

I’ve been going to this little store since I was a lad back in the 90’s and they’ve always been absolutely awesome- they have all the candy, sodas, and snacks anyone could want, amongst all sorts of other useful things and really friendly staff, and my Pop, brother, and I would stop in after church and grab some flaming hot Cheetos, bubblegum, and cokes(no idea why this combination appealed to me back then, hehe) and then my brother and I’d ride on the toolbox of my Dad’s old Blue Ford F-250 back to our property’s cabin, a little ways away. I may be wrong as I lived half in Austin and half in Red Rock while growing up, but I’m relatively sure it’s a family owned business as well, as it’s always generally the same nice folks behind the counter, with the only seeming change to staff over the years being when the older folks’ who used to run it seemingly turned it over to their daughter and her husband who now run it-whom are great people all around and very community oriented, with their little store being a bit of an unofficial Town Square in and of itself, it’s certainly a hidden gem of the Texas Hill Country and always a pleasure to visit. They also have some nice photos of the store over the years amongst other neat trinkets and such, which is interesting to see this little bit of Texas slowly change over the years into this lovely little hidden museum of small town Texas life that it stands as today. Long live the Red Rock General Store! :D They’ve had my fandom since I was a youngster, and will continue to far into the future. :)

Stop in for a hot pocket and a Dublin soda! Then browse through the nick-nacks and gather up on all your farm & ranch feed requirements. We are friendly to all and strangers to none.
