I love my Physician,
Dr. Nordstrom.
He is been guiding me for many years, with no complains.
This time I like to write a review, because there is always room for improvement, I believe.
The Frontdesk Ladies can appear like little Princesses with superior and snoddy attitude. Their job can be challenging at times, no doubts! But please, the patients are not your enemy but your job security. All the waiting patients can hear and see what is going on at the Frontdesk.
Please keep the Nurses that are drawing blood stress-free, if you don't want your patients to suffer.
Thank you for your time and you all keep safe.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomison and Baylor in general for many years. I could not be more happy. Since Baylor has multiple locations, and an urgent care, I am almost always able to get seen my someone in a reasonably quick timeframe.

My grandmother is a patient of Dr. Vo. She is a very knowledgeable and kind dr. We have been with them going on two years since my grandmother came to live with me. Her nurse is very responsive and they solve issues quickly.
My review is based on my experience yesterday with her team. It was our first outing since she has a joint replacement in her hip. Upon walking in the door from the handicap ramp my grandmother felt weak. After checking in I asked Alexis for a wheelchair and she got it for me. Bringing it out to us, speaking kind words to my grandmother, and even offering to help me transfer her. When we were called back Lisa was very sweet setting up the restroom for my grandmother to leave a sample and just so accommodating the whole time.
Getting older and carrying for the elderly are not for the weak. Both of these ladies made our day and deserve to be recognized. I am grateful. Keep up the great work ladies!

I visited two weeks ago with my mom who is presently living with me. We saw Justin Falwell and Amanda, the nurse. Both top notch professionals who took care of my mom. Justin even spoke to her in Spanish which I sincerely appreciated. Excellent bedside manner. My issue is with the receptionist, Andrea. My mom’s insurance is from Puerto Rico. First, I do not believe that she understands that Puerto Rico is a US territory and that we are US citizens…. From the moment she saw the card her demeanor changed completely and I knew it would be an issue. She said she had to call to verify whether it was accepted or not. I completely understand this process. When she verified, she was told that insurance would only cover emergency care in the continental United States and dialysis. I understand this and accept this as a fact. What I cannot accept is her rude demeanor towards us. I told her I was willing to pay for the cost as my mom needed to see the doctor. I ended up paying for the cost but not before she stressed that we could not get any referrals. Again, understood. It was her tone and demeanor that made us feel like less and like we did not belong there. She left me a message afterwards saying she had checked again and corporate had told her that we could NOT be seen there. Her tone and inflection is exclusionary. I filed a complaint and to this day have not received a call. My husband and I are Baylor All Saint patients where he had his kidney transplant. We have always received excellent care from Baylor. Is this the Baylor standard in Red Oak? I wonder how other patients are treated. Particularly those with insurance issues or minorities. Zero empathy and lack of compassion. Who trains and supervises the front staff? This is unacceptable behavior especially in the health field. Is someone going to reach out to me? And please do not respond by posting the generic link saying that you appreciate my feedback. I was told that my verbal complaint was submitted and that the supervisor would get back to me.

As a new patient, I throughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Johnson. She took her time with me allowing me time to express my health concerns. She made some great suggestions and I feel very comfortable with her already. Dr. Johnson’s nurse Mayra was very friendly and made me extremely comfortable before my first visit with Dr. Johnson. However, the receptionist Fatima M. was very rude upon my arrival. I had an issue with my insurance and had to make a phone call to the BCBS. As a new patient, instead of her trying to assist me she made me feel very uncomfortable by being very impatient. Overall, I am so glad my encounters with Dr. Johnson and Mayra were great. I will be returning, I will just wait for another receptionist to assist me when only Fatima is available. ?

These are some of the worst family medicine centers when trying to make appts. There is never availability when you need it , too far down the line to be seen. I would expect better service from Baylor.

Please do not go to this doctor's office and see Dr Rupinder Guryan. She does not care about her patients well being at all.

Fatima helped me checkout and she was patient and made sure I had everything I needed after my appointment. FNP Ashley Walker and Christian were a delight, I felt they listened to my concerns and covered all the bases.

Honestly had a good experience, the front desk staff was very nice. Fatima M. Was extremely helpful and answered all my questions very nicely. She was able to find me a spot same day and even held some flowers i had purchased while i had my visit because i wasnt expecting to get in same day. I have already sheduled a future appointment with them. The doctor, Justin, was very respectful and helpful and his nurse whos name i believe was Amanda were both very nice

There’s the bare minimum legal requirement a company sets for itself from a liability standpoint, and then there’s actual human interaction, grace, compassion and empathy. BS&W adamantly defends its “least we could do” positions but accuses patients of “making excuses” under reversed premises, and offers none of those things you would hope to receive from fellow human beings.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this location. I was extremely pleased with the reception I received at the front desk. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

The website mentions they take walk ins from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday. I just asked to be seen for a rash in my face and they sent me to the Midlothian location. When I asked when can I be seen in Red Oak, they told me 3 1/2 months from today.I was a patient before, but since my primary doctor changed locations, I’m considered a “New patient”.

Dr. Randy Leach was the best doctor that I have had in Texas. I eventually moved from red oak, and the distance was to far to drive. I would highly recommend him for a Family Doctor. He is friendly and is spot on with everything he says. I would send him messages on the baylor app and he was quick to respond.
