Tried to make an appointment and you would have thought I called the CIA. If you have two pets you can't bring both with you. You have to take off work twice. You go fill out the forms and they'll call to let you know when you can come in. I've since learned the vet is known for being horrible. Glad I didn't go.

Vets are great but you got to deal with the ignorant staff up front. Call 2 weeks ago about my dachshund and dosage of a medicine the vet suggested and they told me no one of going to call or talk to you today. Ask if they could call me back and they said no a chance and it would be Monday. Ignorant. Today we went up their for a scheduled appointment and they had scheduled the wrong date. THEY SCHEDULED IT WRONG NOT US . Then some short ignorant desk girl start being a real b)6?6( Well I can check the recording and I will do that with real shitty attitude she told my wife. Then they said you can stay but it will be an hour or 2 as don't have an appointment. AGAIN JUST IGNORANT!!!!! Well we need a new vet obviously. Terrible service. This place use to be great and we never had a problem. So obviously it is the new staff and not us.

Everyone in the office obviously cares about our pets and us. They understand how important these little guys are in our lives. We always receive excellent care, quick responses in cases of emergency and diligence to identify exactly what is going on and treat appropriately. We are very grateful to have them.

Very impressed with the office and staff. Procedures and exams were simply explained. Well established and trustworthy. I needed a vet for my rabbit. Dr Stanfill has 30 years as an exotic vet. He founded and built this practice 20 years ago.

My family and I recently moved to Red Oak and we had an 8 wk old pup. Our previous fur baby's vet was in Garland and it's too far now so I called several vets in my community. I had a few questions because it had been a while since I had a baby pup. All other offices wanted me to come in right away, no questions asked except what date works best. When I called Animal Hospital of Ovilla the receptionist was very knowledgeable. She advised me that since my pup already had his first 2 shots, and was on meds for another concern that there was no need to bring him in until 12wks when the 3rd vaccine was needed, unless I was having concerns. If she hadn't been knowledgeable I would have wasted time and money taking him way before time. I really appreciated that and made the appointment. Our appointment was with Dr Gorman and she was a superstar with our baby. All went well and I'm so glad we found them. They texted me the next day to see how our fur baby was doing. Again, we so much appreciate the great service from Animal Hospital of Ovilla.

I have been going to them since I got my German Shepherd. They have always been amazing. All four of my pets go to them. They text updates and call if needed. Very friendly and professional.
