A gem in West Texas! Our company stays with them and our rooms have always been nice and clean. Anna and Art up front are wonderful!

Got bite here two nights in a row. The first night I saw a mesquito in the room after I felt some bites and chalked it up as a pesky mesquito....Second night woke up in the middle of the night to my left arm itching pretty badly. In a sleepy haze i frantically looked around to see if I could find anything. I did not hear nor see mosquitos and quickly took a peak around my covers and sheets to see if I'd catch a creepy crawler, but found nothing. Back to bed I went. I would like to point out that during this particular work stay I was working overnights. On the return of day 3 before heading in the shower I decided to get my flashlight out and take a quick look around to see if I could see any signs of an infestation or a creepy crawler. I started at the top of the boards and immediately saw signs of bed bugs via fecal matter. Upon discovering these little clues I decided to keep on looking. All I needed was to go down that same base board and sure enough found one. I immediately took a mug shot and went to the front desk to inform them of my discovery. After I informed them that I was put I to a room with bed bugs, the lady who had checked me in seemed semi shocked about this information. She quickly said," Oh no we had no idea if it's OK with you we can refund you the remainder of you're stay. She just asked me for my card. Keep in mind I had just returned from work so I was just in shorts and sandals. Before I could reply to the lady and tell her I don't have my card on me. This older man, whom I assume is her husband, got his panties in a bunch and started to berate me. Yelling at me, saying,"Who do you think you are! Coming up here accusing us of throwing you into a room with bed bugs!!!" I had just finished a 16 hour shift so I did not feel like engaing this man. He then threatened to kick me out and not even refund me a si gle penny. It took his wife several minutes to calm him down. She refunded me the full stay which I wasn't aware of until she gave me the recipet. I was totally OK with just the refund for the remainder of my stay. During the man's rant the lady did manage to get out a few words. These words were definitely more rationale. She again apologized for the bed bugs and proceeded with we are sorry about that and unfortunately have no idea of what travelers may or may not bring along with them. I totally understand this being a traveler myself (which is why I was totally ok with just getting the remainder of my stay refunded). If this grumpy old man had taken the time to listen to thw words coming out of my mouth I would have ranked this stay much different.
P.s the shower in room 104 was pretty much a waterfall. No need for one of those ambient noise machines to go to bed in this room.

This hotel is a gem in this tiny town. The room was very spacious and very clean! The bed was comfortable, the towels were actually a good size and the AC was nice and cold. The staff in the office is incredible! Anna and Art went out of their way to make this stay enjoyable. They were able to get me an early check in and they were so friendly! The hotel is conveniently located right off route 67. Overall, an exceptional night’s stay.

Rooms were very clean and the front desk lady and her husband were a breeze to be around after a long days worth of driving. They were very kind and very understanding of the long day that I had. Offered me some food due to there being very little that rankin has to offer. I’d love to stay here again next chance i get. ?

Came to visit my husband and was not prepared for what this small town had to offer. A lot of heat and dust! Not much goes on in this town but I was glad I stayed here. The people in the office made me feel welcome and comfortable and were very helpful. I Enjoyed getting to know them.

I would really recommend this hotel for people passing by Rankin or if your here for work. The people at front desk are very friendly and attend to your needs. In Addition they treat you like family !!! That is something personally one thing I really like because it makes my stay enjoyable!!!!! Overall it’s a great place to stay

Our stay in Rankin was job related and after staying in a nearby town for a few nights, we were super relieved to be ‘moving in’ to Riata Inn. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was a good decision. The sweet lady at the front desk was attentive, kind and super accommodating. And always with a smile on her face.
Rooms were very spacious, and equipped with everything we were looking for. And clean! Free laundry facility on site was a great addition as well.
We didn’t encounter any issues within our nearly 3 week stay and I highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love the people who run this place!! They are so nice and sweet. The rooms look and smells soo amazing! I know that they really put their hearts into this place! It’s an amazing place to stay with a “at home” feeling.

For a small town, the Riata in has some of the best service and hospitality that will give big cities a run for their money! Ana has been a blessing and always eases your mind to know your room will be clean and anything you need she has it covered!
