We come all the way from the metroplex to get our glasses. So clean, hospitality is wonderful, such a great selection on frames and the best prices you can’t find anywhere else. I have always got my glasses from Walmart or americas best and they take forever to get me my frames. Well not here at East Texas Optical, with them having their own machines where they actually do the lenses themselves is so cool, you can’t find that anymore. I always recommend East Texas Optical it’s worth the drive! Love love love this place and the people too.

With the way the world has become with computers doing everything for you, self check outs at grocery stores, and customer service being almost non existent, it is such a relief to walk through the doors at this place to be greeted with smiles and offer customer service like it should still be done.Amazing family owned and ran business kinda reminds me of an old mom and pop store, but with EVERYTHING that a big franchise store would have! You read that right! They can do just about anything that a big eye care place in Tyler can do. If not better. We will not be wasting our time any more, going to Tyler, fighting the ppl who can't drive, to deal with high prices and rip offs and rude ppl who looks like they fell face first in their grandpa's tackle box! Sweet people here and did I mention they have amazing customer service? They have extremely reasonable prices and they carry name brand frames such as Michael Kors and high brand names like that too. You walk into eye glass world and see if they greet you with a hometown smile and offer you a soda or water with the sweetest hospitality we no longer have in this world. East Texas Optical does. There is not many of these home town Local businesses left like this and it's a shame. Talking to them felt like talking to family. Oh and let me tell you about the awesome customer service they have! Lol Have I mentioned that yet? We will be going back from now on! So next time your in need of an eye exam, or new glasses or prescription sunglasses, or need your current frames repaired or just a little adjustment, or maybe all of the above, please take the scenic route instead and come get treated like family when it comes to your eyes and optical needs.Oh and the customer service.....well you got it by now. :)

We moved to East Texas a short time ago and i needed new eyeglasses. My experience with ETO was nothing short of exceptional. After receiving a new pair of sunglasses and regular glasses from them, I knew as soon as I got home I didn’t like the frames (through no fault of ETO) The lenses were perfect. I just didn’t select frames that I loved because I was trying to save a buck. I called them the next morning in tears and was immediately told to bring them back and they would help me select new ones. At no cost to me, they completely remade both sets of my lenses. I now love my new glasses. These are the best people you will ever meet. They make a great product at a fair price. I will go back to them for all of my eyeglass needs and highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I have been using ETO since 2019. I love them. Local owned, husband and wife. You won't find anyone better then them. They go above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about this place. I am always happy to come here and pleased when I leave. Highly recommend to anyone

We have found our new optical shop! We will never shop big retail again. ETO had a huge selection of frames, very affordable prices, and the best part was that they do the lenses in house, so we had both pairs of glasses in an hour! I loved their customer service as well. They gave us plenty of time and privacy to try on frames and then fit them perfectly to my son's face with a little adjustment to the ear piece. They even had him use his glasses to read an eye chart to make sure that everything worked beautifully. We are very happy!

The owner of this business is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, intelligent, patient, caring, and kind. He took the time to explain in detail what my options were due to me needing a bifocal since my job relies heavily on the usage of electronic devices, combined with age, my sight isn’t as it was in my teen years.If you are looking for an authentic East Texas hospitable experience with someone who, in my opinion, is brilliant and possesses the knowledge of more than some optometrist than ETO is the place!I look forward to the many years that my family and I will be loyal consumers to ETO.Warmest Regards,WD
