EVERY TIME I go there, cashiers are outside smoking cigarettes, on the phone, hanging out with friends who drop by or they're no where to be found. Some are helpful once you find one but they don't seem to know the store very well. Not getting service isn't their problem but the store its self is hard to shop in especially when doing gig work because you cant even make a call or text from in the store. I don't plan on going back.

Got items and proceeded to check out. I waited & waited. FINALLY, I looked down to ring bell and saw a note saying, “outside jumping car battery”! I could see the employee thru window….just standing there. Battery cables hooked to both cars and her just standing there. After, a line of customers, formed behind me…..I went and hollered at the employee, that she had quite a line accumulating. She tried to tell me that we were going to have to continue to wait. I interrupted her and said, “NO, that her store is more important, than jumping someone’s car.”
She was the ONLY employee, I saw.
I asked when her manager would be in & was told, “I don’t know” I asked managers name and was told Mandy (or Mindy). I then asked her name & I was told, Melissa. Melissa, claimed to be assistant manager.
The counter already had items on it and the man, ahead of me…..walked out.
So, Family Dollar lost money due to employee, playing mechanic.

Love the service people and low price. Was trying to hurry and check out so the store could close, and then it happened I dropped a glass of strawberry jelly and the store staff member helped me with checking out and cleaning up the mess ?

Got banned for no given reason. Was there to purchase some stuff and Hunt County deputy said the two girls working told him they asked for me to leave. I thought perjurying was a crime, lying to a officer of the law.
