We have been loyal clients of this salon since 2021 and have always left pleased, even when working with a different stylist each visit. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing.
Our 9:00 a.m. Saturday appointment was delayed to 10:30 a.m. due to our stylist waking with a migraine. I understood and was fine with the reschedule. When we returned, I explained in detail what my daughter wanted—“wine”-colored highlights on top and a full “wine” color underneath, so that lifting the hair would reveal two distinct shades. I also provided inspo photos my daughter found and the look she was trying to achieve.
After nearly six hours in the chair, I was told her hair wasn’t taking the color as expected, but the stylist would try again. Once finished, her hair was a single solid purple shade all over, with no visible highlights. While I could accept the color being off, the absence of highlights on top and the intended two-tone effect was the real issue.
Rather than acknowledge this or discuss options to address it, both the stylist and gentleman repeatedly affirmed the work and took photos, without any sign of accountability or sincere concern. At that point, I paid and left—$386 plus an additional tip—for a result that was neither what we requested nor consistent with the quality we’ve experienced in the past.
This visit was a significant waste of time and money, and unfortunately, it has changed my view of a salon we’ve trusted for years.
In response to owner’s reply: We discussed at the start of the visit what the expectation was and never once was it communicated to me that the look was unachievable! It was only after service was completed that I returned back to the salon that Michelle, the salon owner, who I might add did my daughters hair stated it was communicated all to my 12 year old daughter. I sat the whole 6 hours right out front letting you and your staff know I was there if you needed me for anything. I only received one call halfway through advising color wasn’t coming out how you had hoped and would be redoing it. You also failed to explain that your prices were more due to being the “owner” than Mickinlee’s, who I was originally scheduled with, but she cancelled on me the morning of while I was already present at salon but did I give you guys a hard time? Lastly I want to make clear I was NOT happy nor satisfied even after returning to discuss my concerns.

I came to this salon hoping they would fix the damage they had already caused to my hair, but the experience was even worse. The owner was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of listening to my concerns, she told me my opinion “doesn’t matter” because she’s the owner. That’s a terrible way to treat paying customers.
Not only did she dismiss me, but I also noticed the way she treats her own employees — rude, controlling, and with no respect at all. It says a lot about the environment and the lack of professionalism in this place.
My hair was already burnt and cut unevenly because of their work, and the “solution” she offered was to put more bleach on top of already damaged hair. That shows zero care for clients’ hair health.
This salon does not value respect, professionalism, or customer satisfaction. If you care about your hair and about being treated decently, avoid this place.

I'm visiting my daughter here in prosper Texas and I needed a root touchup. I found this salon Prosper Hair and was given a same-day appointment with Michelle Osbourn. I have never had a better hair color in my life. We did a root touchup and we did some facial highlights, and it turned out amazing. I have been to many great stylist but Michelle is now my favorite. I recommend her to everyone that wants a perfect color match and special highlights or treatments, Michelle was sweet as can be!!! She listened to everything I wanted and knew exactly what to do. I can't wait to go back again.

I came in with a clear reference photo of the look I wanted — soft beige blonde with layered curtain bangs. What I left with looks NOTHING like what I asked for. The color is brassy, uneven, and much darker than my reference, and the cut is flat and blunt instead of layered. It feels like no one listened to me or cared about the result.
I’m extremely disappointed and upset. This was a waste of my time and money. I expect this to be corrected properly — at no extra cost — because what I got is far from what I requested?????????

Terry was my daughter’s stylist, and we were very happy with the results. She has long, curly hair, and Terry handled it beautifully. I’ll definitely be booking my own appointment with Terry soon.

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. The staff is very attentive - Abby helped me lot. Nayeli really listened to my all needs. She took the time to understand what I wanted for my haircut and also gave helpful suggestions based on my hair type. I’m very happy with the results. Highly recommend!

Emily is an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable stylist who consistently gives my hair the same level of care and attention every single visit. I’m a man with curly, wavy, salt‑and‑pepper hair that tends to frizz and eat up far too much of my time. Emily knows exactly how to manage it—she keeps it looking sharp, easy to style, and under control. I always leave her chair feeling confident and knowing my hair is in the best hands. Highly recommend!

Tried two stylists. Both were the same- rushed! They don’t seem to be interested in their job. Such lack of passion for their job is pathetic. Don’t do such disservice to the patrons.

I came in for a root touch-up to cover my greys and asked the stylist to match my roots to the rest of my hair, which is brown. Unfortunately, she chose black dye without confirming the color with me, and now there’s a stark contrast between my roots and the rest of my hair. I assumed it was standard to match roots to your existing hair color which I have gotten done many times, not just cover the new growth, so I didn’t expect to have to clarify that. She also blow-dried my hair without asking how I’d like it styled and left dye stains on my face without cleaning them off. While she was very kind and friendly, the overall experience felt unprofessional and showed a lack of experience.

I got a trim and a gloss here. The haircut was not good, and the blow out after the haircut was even worse. Didn’t look like a blow out, my hair was flat and straight. I don’t think they even put any product in my hair before blow drying it.
