Edited :To the owner: if you truly cares about the health of your business, you should go to check the monitor recording and see what happened with your own eyes and ears. Your reply didn’t address any specific facts and explain why that was a misunderstanding. I support that you post the video online without editing so everyone can have their own judgement.Pushing my comment down by adding more positive comments is not going to help your business health in a long run. The last comment before mine was four months ago. Right after my comment , suddenly lots of people commented at the same time with most of them mentioning Mr Mann specifically.Help your employees to improve their capabilities to deal with little kids and learn to be polite.Very bad experience today with Instructor Austin Mann. The instructor told me loudly in front of my five year old daughter and the whole class that my daughter is not ready and I should take her home. After class, I asked to talk to Instructor Mann in private and said that I wished that he didn't said that in front of my daughter. I wished that he said that after class when my daughter was not around, and that I wanted my daughter to believe in herself and tried again quickly instead of taking her home when the class was not finished yet. Instructor Mann and his colleagues did not care and said that he said that to many other students and they didn't care.If you want your kid to lose interest in this sport and get humiliated in front of everyone, this is the place you should go. Instructors here will teach your kid to be rude and inconsiderate through their own behaviors. People who only know how to fight will only become bullies. My kid went to different two martial arts schools in city Austin before we moved to Prosper recently. Both of them did a wonderful job at encouraging kids to enjoy their classes. One of the classes even had a serious ADHD kid. The instructor was very patient and polite. Every time the kid disturbed the class, the instructor asked him to have a break politely and invited him back in a few minutes. No one ever said you are not ready and you should go home to any kid. This place's low quality of education truly surprised me. I don't think the owner would care because this area is full of kids and their class is FULL. So many kids and yet so little space and so little personalized instruction. Go find a better facility that actually care about your kid and a small class size.

Excellent staff and training. My daughter has been taking classes for about 3 years and we have had nothing but great experiences with Mr Ellen, Mr Mann and the rest of the staff. Instructors are tough but fair and are always looking out for the students wellbeing.

Edit 5/7/24 **Per his request, I have sent a message to the owner to clear up some misconceptions about my son, and his past experience, and to provide information about the most recent incident described below. I will update again if I receive a response.I must add it's laughable that the response to this review tends to imply they had any inkling of my sons character or that he had or has challenges. They made zero effort to get to know him. The only challenge he had was with another one of their students that threatened him and bullied him. The instructor was made aware of this. I even requested private lessons that fell on deaf ears. The instructors had no interest in helping him learn or getting to know him. **I don't usually post negative reviews, but the truth is that this academy caters and favors some students over others. If you have a child that is larger than the other students their age they are essentially treated as a punching bag for the smaller kids. They can come at your child at full force and without form, but if your big kid does the same they're told to hold back. The little ones are praised for beating up the big kid and coached to do so. For a while I chalked it up to a difference in training styles and instruction and parted ways. They destroyed my son's love for martial arts which he had been doing for 4 years. My son's last academy had the mantra that you were on a team. Your classmates were for training, so you save the hard hits for the bad guys and heavy bag. At this dojo, if your want your kid to full on brawl without structure and very little training this is the place for you. Lastly, even after two years of leaving this place, the students still pick fights with my son, at school, unprovoked with no other intention but to start a fight. The instructors fully supports this, the owner does not.

We are thrilled with the experience our son Jace has had so far with both his taekwondo classes and the after-school program. The quality of instruction, care, and attention to each child's development is outstanding. The karate classes are not just about learning martial arts; they also instill discipline, respect, and confidence in the students. Our son's progress has been remarkable, thanks to the dedicated instructors who are not only skilled but also passionate about what they do.The after-school program is a lifesaver for us as working parents. It provides a safe and nurturing environment where our child can continue to learn and grow after school hours. The activities are engaging, and the staff ensures that every child feels included and supported.A special shoutout to Mr. Mann!!! He is a bright light at this academy and is so wonderful with the kids. His commitment and expertise have made a significant impact on our son. He provides guidance, encouragement and accountability. He has helped Jace excel not just in karate, but also in life skills. We highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a holistic approach to their child's development. Thank you to the entire team, especially Mr. Mann and Mr. Ellen, for the incredible work you all do!

I signed my daughter up a little over 2 years ago. Her overall confidence has skyrocketed inside and outside of martial arts. The instructors are great. If you miss class for any reason and your kid falls behind, scheduling a private lesson with Mr. Mann is perfect as he provides 1 on 1 attention to get your kid caught up.This place also offers a good summer camp program that I love and my daughter has made many friends that she looks forward to spending time with!

Inba has been to quite a few dojos and I was worried about him adjusting to life in Prosper. He really enjoys the experience here in pro black belt academy. Thank you for the great experience learning martial arts.
