“My Tesla Model 3 was experiencing squealing coming from the front wheels. Since it has 100k miles, I figured it was time for brakes. Bryan, the manager, took the car and said he would take a look. After an hour he called me and said the brakes were just fine, but since I use regeneration to stop, the brakes were likely not being used enough. I was really not expecting that level of honesty and integrity- I left the shop saying I needed new brakes and he could have easily put new pads and I would not have been any the wiser. Instead, he took 10 minutes to give me some ideas on how I can turn off the regen occasionally to keep the rotors and pads clean and free of rust. Will definitely be taking my other gas car there as it WILL need brakes soon.”

“We drove over an hour to this dealership to go through the Costco Auto Program and it was well worth it. We planned out and found my car through the phone and e-mail. And when my car arrive on the lot, I drove out there to trade-in my old car for a new RAV4 Hybrid. Since it was late and there were 2 customers in front of us, waiting for the final step with the finance department, our salesman (Edwin) ran and grabbed us dinner! Everyone was so sweet and nice. “I drove an hour to this dealership because of the reviews I read. I passed two other Toyota Dealers on the way and I'm so glad I did. I was warmly greeted by Kody and Richard, who promptly answered my questions regarding said oil change. They were both so kind and professional and treat you as if they’ve known you for years. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, the customer service was Awesome, and along with the Kwikest oil change I’ve ever gotten, I also got some great conversation. 10/10! “Just for a bit of background info:
I took my car to the K AVE location at the end of May for a basic oil change which ended up being $200+ due to a rounded out oil plug that they had to replace however, they had my car from 3:30-close and didn’t even touch it. I told them I lived 20 minutes away and if they needed me to pick it up early to call me. They waited until 2 min before closing to call and tell me they would get to it in the morning. When I got there in the morning they were rude about the fact they had to replace the part and acted like I was lucky they could even get it for me. The guy who worked on my car didn't even look like he worked there—he had no name tag or firestone uniform on and when I got in my car it wouldn't turn on. He said all he did was an oil change and so he couldn't have done anything to my battery which was suspicious because right after that he said he unplugged the battery as a safety hazard? He conveniently had his personal vehicle parked right next to mine which allowed him to jump start my car, but I had to sit there letting it charge for 30 minutes before I could leave and he told me not to turn it off for as long as I could manage??? Right away other sensors start going off including my coolant light. I called back and asked why this wasn’t included in the oil change as it says on their website liquids are checked in the process. They said coolant wasn't included and if i wanted them to do anything about it they would have to do a full coolant flush to see if there were any leaks and then they would replace my coolant for me. Odd because anywhere else I've ever had an oil change they've checked and refilled my coolant?
I brought it to BMW and they topped it off for me for free but mentioned I had a little bit of an oil leak. I called the K Ave firestone again and they denied causing any issues with my car including the battery and oil leak.
I drove into Dallas that night and not only did my coolant light go off again, but so did my oil levels light, and a warning saying my drivetrain was malfunctioning. Feeling out of options, I tried to put more oil in my car myself, but the cap was so tight I couldn't get it off! The next day when I tried to start my car to go to work it started knocking and it sounded terrible! I immediately turned it off and called firestone on preston which redirected and referred me to the Prosper location where I received amazing care and professionalism. They paid for a tow truck to pick up my vehicle, and after I talked to Jeff and Rick they decided to help take care of the problems that were caused by the K Avenue location. Being a woman I was terrified to try and advocate for not only myself but my car. They were so patient and kind to me. They listened to everything I said and fixed both my battery and the oil issue. Unfortunately the coolant warning is still freaking out but I'm honestly just so grateful for their hard work and compassion for their customers. I will 100% be coming back to this firestone location regardless of proximity to where I live because these guys genuinely care.”
