It felt like I was bothering the staff b/c I came in. I also think I interrupted a smoke break. I don’t care if ya smoke but at least spritz yourself down so I don’t smell like the ash tray you just used.

Went in to get a haircut and was greeted by Sam. She listened as I explained the cut I wanted- a Recon high and tight combover with pompadour bangs. She triple checked to make sure I wanted a zero on the sides with no blending (the Recon style of high and tight) then she got down to it. There's not much anyone can do about my face, but at least now I have a solid haircut. Thanks, Sam!
Requested style: Recon high and tight (zero on the sides with no fade/blending)
Combover (Hair on top just long enough to lie flat)
Pompadour bangs (long bangs that can be pomped up or drops into the eyes)

McKinney Towne Crossing location. Every haircut has been wonderful. My husband and I have been going to this Great Clips for a couple of years. The salon is clean and the employees are kind. Whether I’m getting a simple clean up haircut or a major long to short haircut because I’m donating my hair, Bahareh listens closely to what I want and then creates a beautiful hairstyle for me. We have and will continue to recommend this Great Clips location.

I just returned from another great cut! I always go on Tuesday when Dana and Robin are there! They are far from crack heads.....good Christian couple.Robin is in the midst of major dental work....we shouldn't judge without information. If you want a Great haircut go on Tuesday!

Went today and got an even better cut with Dana!! His wife shampooed my hair. Hope he's there next time.

I would normally rate this salon a 4 or 5, but yesterday (6/11/24) I went in and there were two people (a couple, it turns out) that looked like crack addicts working the chairs. They said they were filling-in on a temp/contract basis for some reason or another, so I figured, OK since I'm an easy #3 all-over cut that anyone could do. When I sat down and the guy put the draping over me and around my neck, it felt cold and wet. I later realized that he hadn't bothered to use a neck (Sanek?) strip between my neck and the sweat of the prior client. If that wasn't enough to make me go "EWE", I noticed that he was working out of a small case and wasn't using anything at all to sanitize his equipment. I was too shocked and grossed-out to get up and leave - especially since he'd already started cutting. The haircut was OK (can't screw mine up), but I beelined it home and got in the shower immediately after. I'll forego discussing the non-stop chatter from the guy that I found quite offensive. I'd be happy to pull this review and update it to reflect the service I usually get after getting some kind of assurance that they'll never use that couple again. Seriously, if the salon couldn't be staffed that day for some reason, a simple sign on the door or notice on the app would have been enough for me to just put off my haircut and come back another day.

I was in Great Clips on Sunday for a haircut. It was terrible. I called and asked for a refund. Stopped in tonight to get my refund. Robin and Dana were working. Robin knew I was upset about my cut and went OUT of his way to help me with

They are nice, but they really can't do and aren't properly trained to do African American 4c hair. They don't have the proper working tools for blow dry and flat iron style.
