They wont charge $300 for a HVAC recharge, or upsell you filters and fluids on every visit. You all know them. I live in Cypress TX where they are a dime a dozen, but I would rather drive 20 miles north to a country shop, dirt parking lot, an old fashioned coke machine in the waiting room, and real mechanics who tell you the real facts, that fix problems for fair prices.”

“Nobody likes having to use a mechanic or auto shop. They are mostly crooks. I worked a decade in the industry and I know it is extremely rare to find a shop that wont leave you broke and disappointed when you leave. This is not the case for J&V. I conservatively estimated the cost of repairs based on my experience and was shocked when Victor told me it was 25% less than the cheapest price I figured. What about quality you ask? I couldn't safely drive my F250 before it got there. After their work, I would've trusted it to drive to Florida. Diagnosis, Brake job, broken door cable, 2 nice used tires, and fuel system issue repaired for $350 on a diesel. If you need your car repaired on a budget, this is your spot. Lets face it, the auto repair industry is a major scam. Avoid an expensive mistake and use this business.”

They came the same day and towed my mom's car and wasn't for sure he could check it out cause he was short hnaded. But against the odds was able to fix it in 2 days. “We hit a tow chain on highway 6 outside of town. Went to put the spare tire on and noticed there was not a lug wrench with the spare tire. They were able to get to us in a timely manner and went ahead and put the spare on for us! They recommended a local tire shop who was also phenomenal! JJ and the young man were outstanding!”

This is the kind of mechanic in movies where the protagonist says, “I got a guy.”
May is my family’s guy, and I recommend him to anyone that needs anything auto related. He really is honest, as other reviews point out. He’s chill and down to earth. If you’re into this kind of stuff, I like that he explains what’s wrong with your car. Like, as he’s busting out the machine to diagnose a part, he tells you what readings are good or bad and what’s happening when things aren’t working. No bs, no car dealership scammery trying to get you for something you don’t need, or overcharging.
Really, can’t praise him and his team enough.”
