Over the last few months only one cash register is open. And freezers are usually out of order. The employees are trying to do the best they can with what they have to work with. It's too bad DG only cares about profit not people.

The place was a mess. Every aisle had boxes. You can’t walk comfortably through the store. Everyone was rude and miserable. Don’t even bother stopping. I’d rather stop at the Pleasanton location where it’s organized and the workers are friendly!

just moved from san antonio to poteet texas. walked in to this dollar general and i was amaze of how clean and organize it was.. told the clerk how cleaned it was .. Found everything i was looking for 5 stars to this dollar general .. very courteous and clean

If your sign says yall close at 10pm then why did I come up here tonight rushing to make it and yall have the doors locked and closed at 8 minutes until 10pm? It's a little ridiculous wasting someone's time rushing to get there before closing to get something we really needed!!

The worst place to have a job at and even if it’s a temporary job.
Old store manager hired me and tried to set me up on dating a 30 something year old man that works here?
And the new store manager has terrible communication skills and likes to be a type of person to project on others. Doesn’t understand the factor of terrible communication skills and projection doesn’t mix well. She needs to learn how to be a better store manager instead of yelling at employees!
This was only a temporary job for me and she yelled at me for not being able to clock out on time when she would tell me to do things last minute. And another obnoxious employee wouldn’t even let me clock out and would hog the clock out portal from me? Made no sense to get yelled at all from this job.
And would even tell me things if I didn’t get the chance to do them. When it’s clearly things a store manager would communicate about. This new store manager tried to make me feel as if I had to read her mind or run the store myself. Makes no sense to work here.

Don't even bother asking for the bathroom key. It's "closed". Second dollar general I stopped at this week and had to make a whole other stop just for the bathroom.

Super rude people have gone to this store 5 times at 8 am and like always it’s not open have had to literally bang on the door to be let in and by that time it’s already 8:10 not once have they apologized they just go back to their 4 cornered room the staff is so rude and not presentable at all I’ve gone in multiple times with associates, wearing sweatpants and slides while working even on the phone on video call like come on instead of stocking their shelves or organizing it, they decide to leave the boxes unopened on the floor for someone to trip and the only reason I go to that store is because it’s the closest to my house but I think I’m done I rather shop somewhere else, then have to be banging on a store let me in Having to wait in line on the one register, they have even going as far as to walk into their four cornered room while the lady decides to be on video call with her boyfriend so she can come out and help all the customers in line

The chubby lady cashier refuses to check anyone out because she thinks the self check out is the only way to pay now. So she stands and socializes with customers instead. The hwy 476 location cashiers will always offer to check you out if there is line forming. They’ll offer even if there is no line. Great store, had everything I needed!

At 7:30 pm on Thanksgiving All shopping carts was outside in the parking lot. Store was nasty compared too other Dollar General stores. The lady working was rude acted like she didn't want to be there. Didn't catch her name because she didn't have a name tag
