Drove over to this place around 11:30 at night to grab some late-night food, and on coming back out, my car wouldn't start. I had a slowly dying battery that just refused to start back up in the cold weather. My car was parked right in front of their doors, and with no other customers at the time, the gentleman handling the store was gracious enough to come out and help jump-start my car. Took all of three minutes. Without that simple show of humanity, I would have faced a long, cold walk home wearing nothing thicker than a t-shirt and workout shorts -- leaving my car there, where it might well have been towed before morning. I've lived in this area since the '80s, and I've been a regular customer at this store all these years, buying gas, food and whatnot . But I never needed serious help like that until tonight. I'm grateful for it, and want everyone to know that this business is operated by some good people, and it deserves our support.
