I've been waiting for a package from Canada, and when I checked the tracking number, I discovered it had been mistakenly routed to USPS in Spring, TX. I called USPS on Saturday, they opened a service ticket, telling me I would receive a call within 1-3 business days. To my surprise, just two hours later, I received a voicemail from Jason at USPS Porter Txassuring me that he would request the package to be rerouted. On Monday, I received my package and assumed everything was resolved. Then, on Tuesday, Jason left me a courtesy voicemail to check if I had indeed received the package and to ensure everything was in order. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and attentive service, especially since I wasn’t expecting any follow-up. It’s rare to find such dedication, and Jason’s professionalism really stood out. Thanks to his efforts, what could have been a frustrating experience turned into a smooth and positive one. Big shoutout to Jason and the USPS Porter Tx team for going the extra mile!

I had a package delivered to my home which is an RV park that I’ve had countless packages delivered too… I was missing a package and haven’t gotten a phone call or any kind of notice saying that it wasn’t getting delivered. Instead I see that whoever tried to deliver it put “ vacant “ on the delivery and that was all that was done with it. Now I figure out that it got sent allll the way back to the sender states away before I even knew what was going on. Worst post office in the area

Consistently either wrong keys left in my box for packages or the wrong box labeled. One time a "broken" key was left in my box for a package. The key was straight up half a key! I know you guys are busy, but damn you have one job. . . "Mail!" My neighbors are always bringing my mail to me b/c it was in their mail box, or I'm having to drop off mail to my neighbors. It can't be that hard. This morning I had a key in my mailbox labeled #7 1P. Well that box was already open and oddly, the key that was in in that box, had 3 keys attached to it! How is that even possible!

About four weeks ago, I went into Livingston post office and did a change of address. My son‘s passport still got shipped to our old address in Porter. He is going on a mission trip and just a few days and I was About ready to cry. I called the passport place, not coming up with anything other than a tracking number. Finally, I called the Porter post office and got a hold of the acting postmaster Jason Kalkman He assured me that he had the package and that they would send it overnight to me on Monday and that they would call me to get my address. Instead Lindsay Cox called to let me know that she had the package in her hands and after talking to her for a minute, she decided that she lived very close by and would hand-deliver it to me. This is unlike any Customer Service I have ever known. I cannot believe how good I was treated by both part. I could not brag on them thank you so much for being wonderful

I appreciate Hazel's assistance. She is kind, highly informative, and patient. Each time I leave the post office, I feel I've learned something new. People like her truly make a difference.

I sell merchandise online for my business and some of it happens to be small paper goods sent through a regular letter (lightweight, printer-paper thin, never had a problem with shipping this way at any post office, it’s less weight than a regular thank you or birthday card).
Today I handed over my online merchandise sales letter to the counter lady, and she folded the letter in half right in from of me and said “yep you’re good!” because apparently a letter can’t have any rigidity to send through first class envelope. I’m so incredibly mad that my letter was bent right in front of me. There’s no reason for ANY postal worker to do something so rude and uncaring for the sake of checking ”rigidness”, when we all know that birthday cards get made with heavier paper weights nowadays. This post office has always had terrible service and I’ve put up with it for years for the sake of location and convenience, but screw that and all of your staff. I already had to send an apology and replacement email to my loyal customer.

I don't know who delivered Sat the 16th March 2024 on pinewood dr Porter, but they backed into my driveway and left the packages at the end of my driveway! It had just rained and was wet! Not to mention it was easy for someone to grab it at the road! Not happy! It was a irreplaceable item! If I had not been watching it would have been ruined in the wet!
