This is an awesome market in the porter area between 494 and hwy 59 north. It's not a fancy market but it's definitely clean.this is our go to place for fresh made tortillas and imported Mexican snacks, candies and sodas. they have a Great selection of fresh meats Fajitas & chicken, already marinated or non marinated. they do serve up some good tacos de barbacoa, chicken or bistec. they sometimes have menudo if your into eating that. the people that work there are always nice and kind such good people. me and the family always love coming here. i do recommend this place if you dont want to drive far for Mexican goods and snacks.

This definitely our go to place for barbacoa, fresh made tortillas. Great selection of fresh meats as well. Fajitas, milanesa, red chicken, and red fajitas (marinated). If you are looking for a great market for all your Mexican hankerings. This is the place.

Food was good can’t lie about that must give them that but the service is awful . Today went in order my order the lady was rushin what do I say lady several were doing our order 2 lady’s and a man came to help in with our order never seen this at another place everyone was talking all over the place dint know who to listen to both ladies asking what I’m wanting in tacos I’m looking at my opinions in which there hurrying us up till I had had it told the lady to wait I’m trying to see what my nephew wants and she is hurrying me up I told her she is trying to get my attention and I have to attend to the kids to see what they want my son is special needs as well as nephews it was so horrible our experience my son couldn’t handle all the commotion they had going on it was like attending other at same time even guy in back said attend them first then I go next the guy said no I attend u but I really think it was bc he noticed they were all going everywhere not order by order is like they need some sort or organization on how they take orders then do them not just everyone up on top of each other talking every where I wish I would of been able to speak to the owner in wish I also hope he see my review bc is awful the way they have there food service there how I said food is good not service and they should see it we are the customers and incoming ingress comes from there so it can be taken into consideration that at least we deserve good service thanks

Some of the best tacos in Houston. "Hole in the wall" supermarket with with a fantastic Taqueria. Been coming here everytime I'm on this side of town. The barbacoa steak fajitas, chicken fajitas, and ground beef are my favorites. This vistot I got 2 barbacoa and 2 fajita steak limes and their red sauce is fire!

I've been shopping here for several months hoping they wouldn't sell bad meat like most places like this. Unfortunately tremendous disappointment, when I went to prepare a smoked chop, it smelled rotten, disgusting! I do not recommend buying here, unfortunately you risk buying spoiled meat, they don't care about anyone's life. DO NOT BUY MEAT AT THIS PLACE! What a disappointment, what mediocrity.

Today Saturday August 21, 2021 I went to buy barbecue and carnitas but it is very salty the barbecue tasted like old overheated please sell quality do not sell that ugly the butchers please be more careful not to add too much salt to the barbecue carnitas or any other type of food.

My favorite spot to go get barbacoa, they have tortillas de mais and they also have tortillas de arina on Sundays so we get both. Good prices.You can never go wrong going to queretaro meat market ?
