I started renting a unit in April of 2021 when I moved out of my ex’s house. I ended up getting really sick towards the end of 2021 with Lyme and other co-infections and was unable to continue payments. I was waiting for a letter stating to get my belongings as I assumed my passcode would no longer work. I never received a letter but when I called earlier this year, I was notified that my belongings were no longer there. I wasn’t rude to the owner but I was asking her questions about the possible location of my things and correcting her timeline and she got such a horrible attitude with me. I finally told her I didn’t care about the belongings, I was only interested in getting my tote back containing my kid’s memoirs. Her husband then got on the phone and continued to degrade me for not being able to pay my bill. My rating of a 1-star is for the rudeness of the owners and the belittling me for not being able to pay my bills during hard times (for me, at least) but also because their storage units are very humid and ruined a lot of my things only a few weeks after storing them. I had to eventually purchase plastic storage bins with lids in order to keep my belongings dry in their unit.

I always use Javco for my storage needs. I feel secure with the coded fence and I've used them several times and had no problems, very friendly, family oriented. But I will be glad when they can take a credit card by phone or internet. Thanks, Kathy :)
