Ruston was a wonderful host. As far as his cabins. No detail is un looked. What an awesome stay it has been. My only regret is that it was cut short. My best advice. STAY HERE!

I love how everything set up I was coming down for the plant for a job and its very clean washer and dryer also available. The doors have its only PIN code on the door to get inside your it’s very much different I love you Mr . Ruston is very understanding and will work with you just be honest and don’t lie about anything I would highly recommend and definitely would return back

Omg!!!! I must say that this place has the absolute best accomodations and the owner is the most polite, professional and caring person I have encountered throughout my years or travel work!! I would give this place 100/100 ⭐. I felt safe, clean, and the location to my job was minutes away without the hassle of traffic and congestion!!! When you are looking for a simple stay with all the needs at your disposal by all means GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!! I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!!

Awesome place to stay if you’re working at one of the Industrial Plants in Port Lavaca. The Cabins are only 10 minutes from the Plants, and located in a very quiet area. Ruston, the owner, is very accommodating and definitely goes above and beyond.

We love it here!!!!
These cabins are nice, clean and comfortable. Rusty and his wife thought of everything!!
It’s safe and quiet at night. My husband and I came to town for a fishing trip. Yes there are fishing spots everywhere!!!! The refinery is less than 5 minutes away. We also fired up the grill & Rusty has a fire pit onsite for the guest. We most definitely will be back!!!
Rooms: Comes with coffee pot, hot plate, refrigerator and microwave
Nearby activities: Lots of fishing and kid friendly parks
Safety: Camera onsite and parking at your door.
Noteworthy details: Lovely shower the hot water feel good!!!!

My company has rented the entire place for a long-term project we are working on in the area. This place is great! Good location, clean, and safe.... and very quite. Management is onsite and addresses any of our concerns quickly and they are super nice folks! I highly recommend the Simple Stay to anyone needing to stay in the area.

My company rented the entire facility out for a long term project we are working on in 2022-2023. The facilities are clean and safe. Management is responsive to questions and concerns. Any minor issue was had was addressed quickly and to my team's satisfaction. I would 100% recommend Simple Stay to anyone who is looking for simple, clean, safe accommodations.

Super amazing place to stay if you are looking for a place close to the refinery. It's 9-10 minutes away and you don't have to cross the bridge (traffic gets backed up by and on the bridge). They have all of the amenities you need here, super comfortable beds if you have a short or long project you are staying for (your back will thank you). 10 outta 10 would recommend my friends and family to stay here.

I didn’t stay there personally but one of our employees did for a few days.Stellar service by Ruston and his team - our employee got sound rest each night and enjoyed the standard cabin very much.Naturally we’ll be back in town to continue work and we will be staying here each time if there’s room.Gem of a place.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and can't say enough good things about the place. We custom harvest in the area and the cabins were perfect for us. We rented 4 cabins. The cabins are very clean, beds are comfortable, and have their own bathroom. We will definitely be back next year. Mr. Ruston and his wife were very nice to rent from. Best place we have stayed in while in Port Lavaca.

Rustin is a wonderful guy and really understandable person. The room i got was excellent has its own restroom and shower also has a fridge and microwave a tv with cable and free wifi. Also you have a washing machine and dryer available 24/7 I strongly recommend this place i would definitely be back to this place and get a room.
